Rome, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio announced Wednesday that a ministerial meeting in Berlin formula on Libya would be held on June 23.
Briefing Italian Parliament on security in the Mediterranean, Di Maio said Italy was vigorously participating in Berlin process follow up mechanisms.
Based on a request by Rome, Germany has called for a new Berlin-style meeting on the ministerial level to be held on June 23 to promote international coordination according to the Italian Nova news agency.
The Head of Italian diplomacy said they had constant coordination on Libya on the political and technical levels with France, Germany, the UK and United States, and that he was in contact with regional, international and European partners as he put it.
