Libyan Coast Guard Rescue 291 Migrants Off Coast Of Al Zawiyah.

Al Zawiyah, The Libyan Coast Guard have rescued 291 illegal migrants after they received a SOS from the migrants on a boat north of the city of Al Zawiyah.

According to a Spokesman for the Navy the Coast Guard received a SOS message, dispatched the Navy boat ‘Fezzan’ to the site where they rescued the migrants who belonged to various nationalities.

The rescued migrants were handed over to the Anti-migration Body.

Deputies To Speaker Of Parliament Meet Head Of Government On Services To Communities.

Tripoli, First Deputy to Speaker of Parliament Fowzi Al Nuwiri and Second Deputy Hmeid Huma met the Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba to discuss pressing needs and services of the citizens.

Sources of the House of Representatives branch in Tripoli said the meeting which was held at the House of Representatives offices in Tripoli dealt with the Government work in the period following the granting of confidence by Parliament, as well as general issues including the situation in the country, the draft state budget submitted by the Government for endorsement in its forthcoming session.

GNU Minister Of Transport Meets French Ambassador.

Tripoli, Government of National Accord Minister of Transport Mohamed Al Shehubi met French Ambassador to Libya Beatrice Du Helen with whom he discussed bioltaeral exchange in the transport area.

Du Helen expressed her country’s desire to assist Libya restore stability saying France was exited to help with all the expertise it has.

Al Shehubi said the Government of National Unity has accomplished a lot in a relatively short period of time including unifying state institutions.
