Translators for 19 Languages at Residences of Guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah

Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has arranged for translators proficient in 19 languages to assist the pilgrims participating in this year’s Hajj season, 1445 AH, in Makkah as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. These languages include English, French, Thai, Serbian, Urdu, Dutch, Filipino, Amharic, Indonesian, German, and Turkish.

The primary goal of providing translators is to promote religious awareness among pilgrims, encourage adherence to the correct approach in beliefs, worship, and behavior, guide pilgrims in performing their rituals correctly, and educate them about religious matters.

This initiative aligns with the directives of the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh. Its purpose is to make the Hajj rituals more accessible and to overcome the language barrier for the pilgrims of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visi
t. These efforts are backed by the wise government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, as part of their commitment to serving the pilgrims.
