Tripoli: The Japanese Embassy announced today, Tuesday, the resumption of its work from the capital, Tripoli, on a limited basis, starting from January 15, after the cessation of work in its offices in 2014.

Our government platform stated that the Japanese embassy confirmed that it seeks to develop diplomatic cooperation with Libya, while visa issuance procedures for Libyan citizens will be completed from its country’s embassies in Tunisia, Egypt, and Istanbul.

For its part, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that “Nuri Al-Kaseh,” Director of the Ministry’s Asia and Australia Department, received today the Japanese Chargé d’Affairs, “Masaki Amadera.”

She added that the Director of the Ministry’s Asia and Australia Department appreciated this step because of its significant impact on relations between the two countries
