Makkah: The Saudi Arabian Scouts Association in Makkah and the holy sites began supporting the working teams in the Ministry of Health in hospitals and health centers. It also participated in directing pilgrims and patients to clinics, medical laboratories, and pharmacies and guiding them to their destinations after leaving hospitals and health centers.
The leader of the health group, the scout leader, Dr. Mansour Abdulrahman Al-Sharif, stated that the members of the scout teams were trained and distributed according to a scheduled plan until the 14th day of Dhu al-Hijjah to assist pilgrims inside hospitals and health centers in Makkah and the holy sites.
He pointed out that the scouts’ tasks are to provide first aid to the injured and to guide patients to their residences after their recovery.
