Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah Launches Second Phase of Hajj Plan

Madinah: The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Madinah launched its second-phase plan for Hajj today, under the guidance of its chairman and with the supervision of the Governor of Madinah, who also heads the Hajj and Visit Committee.

The plan focuses on providing emergency medical services to pilgrims after they complete their Hajj rituals and before they reach hospitals. This will be achieved through 45 fully equipped medical centers, staffed by about 700 medical professionals and more than 500 volunteers. Additionally, a fleet of over 70 ambulances, a mass-casualty bus, and an air ambulance service will ensure rapid response and care.
