Qatari Hajj Mission Obtains License to Open Medical Clinics

Makkah Al-Mukarramah, The medical clinics of the Qatari Hajj mission in Makkah Al-Mukarramah has obtained a license to open them from the competent medical authorities in the Ministry of Health in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after the competent ministry delegation visited the headquarters of the Qatari Hajj mission to inspect the medical clinics there, and ensure that they fulfill all requirements and arrangements necessary to obtain a license.

In this context, Dr. Khaled Abdel Hadi, head of the medical unit in the Qatari Hajj Mission, said that the unit was keen to complete all medical arrangements and equipment for the clinics during the past days, as special clinics for men and women were prepared, a pharmacy and an emergency center for each, in addition to a patient triage center and isolation rooms. There is accommodation for men and another for women, ensuring the safety and health of the countrys pilgrims, so that they can perform Hajj rituals in the best conditions and under safe health car

Abdel Hadi added that the medical staff accompanying the Qatari Hajj mission have all obtained a license to practice the profession, and it consists of the most skilled doctors in various specialties, to provide comprehensive medical care starting from the pilgrims arrival in the Holy Lands until their safe return to the homeland after performing the Hajj.

The head of the medical unit noted that additional contracts had been signed with the private Makkah Park Hospital, which is located near the residence of Qatari pilgrims to serve the countrys pilgrims in emergency cases that any pilgrim may be exposed to, in addition to contracting with other private hospitals in the Mecca Towers overlooking the Holy Mosque; to treat cases that require hospitalization, so that the medical unit is ready to treat any emergency medical case among pilgrims from the State of Qatar near their places of residence, and that they also have priority for treatment in this hospital, adding that a contract is also being made with
the Saudi German Hospital to receive any Emergency or chronic medical cases. The medical unit also provided an ambulance with the highest level of global health capabilities and in accordance with the highest standards, in order to ensure the safety and health of pilgrims throughout their stay in the Holy Land.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Hadi said that the medical unit is working on completing the equipment for the medical clinics in the holy sites in Mina and Arafat during the next few days to be ready to provide comprehensive health care to pilgrims, as well as providing medical personnel and plans to provide health care in Muzdalifah, so that the pilgrim will be safe throughout the period of the rituals, and until the completion of the Hajj work.

Regarding the coordination mechanism between the medical unit in the Hajj mission and the medical units in the Hajj campaigns and how to supervise and follow up the work of those units and ensure that they meet the standards in a way that guarantees the health and safety
of every pilgrim from Qatar. Dr. Khaled Abdel Hadi said that communication with the campaigns in Mecca is the responsibility of the missions communication unit, which It is concerned with communicating and linking all Qatari Hajj campaigns and taking care of every pilgrim from Qatar during the Hajj season, in addition to direct coordination and communication with the medical unit in the event of a medical condition that requires rapid intervention, whether by ambulance or immediate doctors examination of this patient.

The State of Qatar is keen to provide all capabilities, equipment, medicines and treatments necessary for pilgrims from Qatar in all Qatari Hajj campaigns in cooperation and coordination with our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a specialized cadre of doctors, nurses, paramedics and pharmacists accompanying the Qatari Hajj delegation, to provide high-level health services that guarantee the safety and health of the countrys pilgrims so that they can perform Hajj rituals in the best
conditions, through cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, and the Primary Health Care Corporation, as they are among the entities participating with the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) in the system of services provided to the countrys pilgrims, within the framework of the States interest in providing high-quality health services to all its pilgrims and excellence in providing the best in health care, security and public safety, so that Qatar becomes one of the developed countries and one of the best countries for family life, in line with the third national development strategy 2024-2030 and achieving the Qatar National Vision.
