Makkah, President of the Saudi Water Authority, Eng. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Abdulkarim, inspected the operational water system’s preparations today in production, transportation, storage, and distribution to serve the pilgrims during the Hajj season 1445 AH in Makkah region and the holy sites.
He inspected the projects and plans to ensure their operational readiness to meet the water needs during the Hajj season. Additionally, he visited the operation area in the holy sites and Makkah.
This year’s Hajj season is expected to see an increase in the daily production capacity available to Makkah region as part of the operational plan. Smart solutions and advanced technologies will be utilized to improve the quality of services for pilgrims and workers during the Hajj season.
Eng. Al-Abdulkarim inspected the readiness of strategic and operational water storage systems in the region. He also reviewed the transport systems and supply chains to ensure the sustainability and reliability of the water supply.
