Pilgrims Cast Stones at Jamarat on Second Day of Tashreeq, Those in a Hurry Head to the Grand Mosque for Farewell Tawaf

Mina: Today, on the second day of Tashreeq, pilgrims completed the ritual of casting stones at the Jamarat, which entails throwing pebbles at three pillars, starting with Jamarat Al-Oula (the small pillar), continuing with Jamarat Al-Wusta (the middle pillar) and finishing with Jamarat Al-Aqaba (the large pillar).

Pilgrims in a hurry then swiftly proceeded to the Grand Mosque to perform the Farewell Tawaf (circumambulation).

Authorities ensured smooth movement throughout the day, facilitating pilgrims’ access to the Jamarat Bridge for stoning, for returning to their Mina residences, and while heading to Makkah if in a hurry for the Farewell Tawaf.
