An American-European statement praises the National Oil Corporation and warns against actions that undermine its work

Tripoli- The countries of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States expressed their appreciation for what they considered the commitment of the National Oil Corporation to improve financial transparency, warning against actions that undermine the National Oil Corporation, in line with multiple UN Security Council resolutions.

The embassies of these countries, in a joint statement published on the official website of the US Embassy in Libya, urged all Libyan actors to respect unity, integrity, and independence, and to preserve the non-political and technical nature of the Tripoli-based National Oil Corporation, so the non-interruption of its operations benefits all Libyans.

A Libyan-Tunisian-Algerian conference discusses ways to transition towards a free and digital economy in Africa

The head of the preparatory committee for the conference, Abdel Samea Amer Muammar, said on Thursday that the event aims mainly to shed light on the importance of the digital economy and the free economy to advance the economies of these promising countries, noting that creating a common digital platform for e-commerce is one of the most important goals that the conference seeks. to achieve,

For his part, the head of the body in charge of organizing this event, Yassin Abdel Hamid Abu Sriweel, said that the conference program includes six sessions chaired by local and international speakers, dealing with the topics of “the legislative and regulatory environment for the digital economy,” “the role of banks in supporting free and digital economy projects,” and investment in the digital economy, Information and Communication Technology and Intra-African Trade.

Tripoli- The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed al-Hawij stressed the need to implement the investment map according to the natural resources available in each region.
