Muhammad Abdel Salam: Security Council statement encourages Zionist enemy to continue its crimes against Palestinians

The head of the national negotiating delegation, Muhammad Abdel Salam, confirmed that the Security Council statement encourages the Zionist enemy entity to continue its crimes against the Palestinians.

Abdel Salam explained in his post today on the ‘X’ platform that the UN Security Council condemns itself for this blind bias towards the Zionist occupier, who is being prosecuted in the International Court of Justice for his brutal crimes.

He pointed out that Resolution 2722 represents a historical disgrace for an international council that cares as it claims to protect international peace , security and appears in contrast to his job.

He stated that the Security Council has turned into a platform for influential countries like America to pass their arrogant , colonial projects at the expense of the security and safety of peoples in the region and the world. He said: ‘The world’s abandonment of protecting the Palestinian people and the international bias towards the Zionists pushed the Yemeni armed forces t
o carry out Red Sea operations.’

He added, “The Red Sea operations aim to draw the world’s attention to the necessity of fulfilling its responsibility by pressuring the Zionist entity to stop the crimes of genocide against the people of Gaza.”

The head of the national delegation pointed out that the UN Security Council, after Resolution 2722, enshrines the law of the jungle and calls it international legitimacy, ignoring humanitarian laws.

He pointed out that America cannot hide behind the international resolution and is guilty of protecting Israel and supporting it politically and militarily to continue its crimes against the Palestinians.

Abdel Salam also stressed that Yemen is continuing to support and assist Gaza by continuing its operations against Israeli ships, as well as those heading to the ports of occupied Palestine…

He indicated that Yemen’s decision stems from a purely humanitarian background to stand by the oppressed and the oppressed in the face of the oppressive, brutal aggressor.

Abde
l Salam reiterated that there is no danger to the ships of the world and there is no threat to international navigation. Resolution 2722 is filled with American deception and Western lies, and the UN Security Council must restore its basic function of protecting the oppressed peoples.

He pointed out that if the Security Council continues to be a platform for America and its destructive projects, its decisions will lose their legal status , humanitarian value, and their absence will be the same.
