KSrelief Signs Agreement to Operate Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center Project in Yemen’s Aden


Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Wednesday signed a cooperation agreement with the international Wars and Disaster’s victims’ protection Association (IRVD) to implement the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center project in Yemen’s Aden Governorate.

KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz signed the agreement at the organization’s headquarters in Riyadh.

The director of the KSrelief Health and Environmental Assistance Department, Dr. Abdullah Al-Muallem, explained that physical rehabilitation services will be provided to people with special needs. The project will diagnose and determine the treatment plan for each patient individually, installing all types of prosthetic limbs for beneficiaries and providing functional rehabilitation service for prosthetic limbs, benefiting 2,308 individuals.

The agreement comes within the humanitarian and relief projects implemented by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, K
Srelief, to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people amid the humanitarian crisis.
