Human Resources Minister Lauds Workers’ and Volunteers’ Efforts this Hajj Season

Mina: Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi commended the dedication of workers and volunteers during this year’s Hajj season.

He highlighted the important role they played in ensuring a smooth experience for pilgrims, in line with the Kingdom’s leadership’s directives to provide full support and services.

Al-Rajhi made his remarks yesterday during his visit to the ministry’s headquarters in Makkah where he was briefed on the work and efforts exerted by the ministry’s supervisory teams to ensure compliance with labor laws.

The ministry had launched initiatives and services to assist those involved in Hajj, such as “Ajeer Al-Hajj”, seasonal visas, and a multilingual anti-begging initiative.

The teams also supervised 22 children’s hospitality centers in Makkah and other holy sites, and carried out volunteer and service programs to directly assist pilgrims.
