Arafat: The health system has verified the successful transportation of 366 hospitalized pilgrims from Makkah, Mina, Jeddah, and Taif to Arafat on the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah. This was accomplished using five convoys, a decrease from the 397 pilgrims transported to Arafat during the previous Hajj season, 1444 AH.
The Ministry of Health organized the pilgrims into five convoys, transported by 55 buses equipped with medical facilities and accompanied by ambulances and 40 service and support cars. Public Security also provided an official vehicle to accompany each convoy. The convoys departed at 2 o’clock in the afternoon and will return after sunset.
