Conclusion of the consultative meeting program between the Audit Bureau and the USAID.


Tripoli: The Libyan Audit Bureau and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) concluded the program of consultative meetings between them, dedicated to following up on the partnership work between the two institutions and determining the rates of development in the completed projects, which are scheduled to be implemented during this year.

The Regional Director of the USAID handed over to the Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, a number of completed projects, including human resources systems and manuals, in addition to the digital transformation project and supervisory evidence methodologies.

The final program reviewed a number of projects represented in developing the digital work environment, in terms of information technology control and the electronic enterprise resource planning system, in addition to cybersecurity policies and manuals.

The meeting also reviewed the governance systems, represented in the quality assurance system and the internal audit system, and the acti
vities to be implemented during this year in these two areas, in addition to a presentation on the communication strategy, the efforts of the Communication Committee in unifying the oversight work, and the preparation of the applied audit guide.

The meeting recommended a set of results that contribute to developing the Bureau’s work, including starting the procedures for approving the completed evidence, setting annual plans for implementation, working to accelerate them, facilitating the tasks of experts and providing logistical support to them so that they can commit to implementing the programs on the scheduled date, and affirming the continuity of the partnership between the two institutions.
