Deputy Interior Minister Heads Saudi Arabia’s Delegation at Conference to Combat Drug Trafficking


Deputy Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al-Dawood headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the First Conference on Combating Drug Trafficking and Substance Abuse, held in the Republic of Mauritius, April 24 and 25.

Dr. Al-Dawood stressed that the Kingdom’s participation in the conference comes as an extension of its efforts in the war on drugs as well as following up and diagnosing the size of its effects and damages. The Kingdom also aims to strengthen international cooperation and exchange information to address the activities of organized crime networks in general, and drug crime in particular.

Gaza Death Toll from Israeli Aggression Rises to 34,356 Martyrs, 77,368 Wounded

The number of casualties due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 34,356 martyrs and 77,368 injured, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Ministry of Health in Gaza added that the Israeli occupation forces have committed five massacres in the enclave during the past 24 hours, which claimed the lives of 51 martyrs and wounded 75 others, pointing out that still there are several victims laying underneath the rubble and on roads, with the paramedics and civil defense personnel being unable to reach out to them.

Taiz Five mass marches to confirm continued support for Palestinian people


The Great Prophet Square in the Directorate of Condolence in Taiz Governorate witnessed today a mass march under the slogan “With Honorable Gaza..Mobilization and Vigilance”, emphasizing the continued support for Gaza and solidarity with the Palestinian people.

In the march, which was led by the Acting Governor of Taiz Ahmed Al-Massawi, the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals – Executive Director General of the Yemeni Gas Partner Yasser Al-Wahidi, a number of deputy governors, the mobilization official in Al-Mahwit Governorate Ismail Sharaf Al-Din, and the assistants to the commander of the Fourth Military Region, Brigadier General Noureddine Al-Marrani, and Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Khaled, the masses chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian people and against the Zionist entity.

They stressed that the silence and shameful betrayal of most Arab and Islamic countries was met by the great, strong and influential steadfastness of the mujahideen heroes in Palestine.

Chinese President meets U.S. Secretary of State


U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met Friday with Chinese President Xi Jinping and senior Chinese officials, stressing the importance of ‘responsibly managing’ the differences between the United States and China.

President Jinping stressed that China and the US must seek common ground rather than engage in competition.

He emphasised the need for partnership over rivalry, stating that both nations should support each other’s success rather than causing harm.

According to China Global Television Network (CGTN), President Jinping outlined three guiding principles for bilateral relations: mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and mutually beneficial cooperation.”

Bahrain, China hold first round of political consultations


The Kingdom of Bahrain and the People’s Republic of China today held the first round of their political consultations.

The session was co-chaired by Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, and Deng Li, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.

The Political Affairs Undersecretary underlined Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen and broaden its cooperation with China across the political, economic, scientific, cultural and technical fields to serve common interests.

The two delegations discussed the latest regional and global developments, including the ongoing efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, delivering humanitarian aid to civilians, avoiding military escalation, and reducing tensions, in addition to endeavours to establish just and comprehensive peace regionally and globally, as well as promote peaceful coexistence among cultures and civilisations.

g political and economic cooperation and coordination with the kingdom, in a way that would serve the interests of the countries and their peoples, as well as contribute to enhancing regional and international security and peace.
