Health Office in Al-Jouf supplies Al-Ghail Health Center with television X-ray

The Public Health and Population Office in Al-Jouf Governorate provided the Al-Ghail Health Center with a TV-ray device, to conduct x-ray examinations for patients.

During the handover, which was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs, Saleh Al-Khawlani, Director of the Health Office in the governorate, Dr. Abdulaziz Amir, confirmed that supplying the center with an x-ray machine comes within the framework of the office’s plan to raise the level of health services to alleviate the suffering of citizens.

He urged preserving and maintaining medical equipment to ensure its sustainability in providing medical services to patients.

Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition features work of late Bahraini artist

In honor of the late Khalil Al Hashemi’s distinguished artistic journey, the 49th Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition features a selection of the artist’s most significant artwork that transcend cultural barriers.

The exhibition is open for the public until July 10 where in addition to this year’s entries from local artists, visitors can discover Al Hashemi’s latest creations; featuring gold pieces from Devji Aurum Jewelry inspired by the late artist.

Al Hashemi is also the designer of Al Dana Award statuette, which is a prize awarded every year to the first winner in the exhibition.

With 55 Bahraini and expatriate artists participating this year, the exhibition showcases more than 100 works that include from paintings, sculptures, installation works, photography and video; all of which use a variety of materials, techniques, and belong to different art schools.

Ministry of Islamic Affairs Displays Most Prominent Technologies at Holy Qur’an Exhibition in Brazil

The Holy Qur’an Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, held in the Brazilian city of Foz do Iguacu, displays a large variety of Qur’an publications and translations of the meanings of the words of the Holy Qur’an into more than 70 international languages. The exhibition includes a presentation of the stages involved in printing the Holy Quran.

The Visitors to the exhibition praised the progress achieved by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields, specifically the field of technology, as well as the role of the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims around the world and their use of these technologies to serve the pilgrims.

Google Cloud Opens New Cloud Region in Doha -1-

According to research commissioned by Google Cloud and conducted by Access Partnership, the new Doha cloud region is expected to drive increased economic activity and is estimated to contribute a cumulative $18.9 billion in higher gross economic output to the economy of Qatar between 2023 and 2030 and support the creation of 25,000 jobs in 2030 alone. This new cloud region is the latest significant investment made by Google Cloud in Qatar, following the recent opening of a country office and virtual center of excellence (CoE) in Msheireb. (QNA)

Tourism Minister stresses keenness on promoting tourism projects in new urban areas

Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jafar Al Sairafi, has affirmed the need to back tourism projects and activities, stressing their importance as key contributors to urban and economic growth.

She was speaking during a field tour of a number of tourism projects being carried out by Naseej company in Dilmunia Island ( CanalView and the Mall of Dilmunia). She discussed issues and initiatives of common interest to explore joint opportunities and partnership with the private sector per the tourism strategy 2022-2026.

The minister also inspected the company’s projects in Salman City to get updated on their development on the seafront. She listened to a detailed briefing by Naseej Company Chief Executive Ameen, Al Arayedh, stressing the ministry’s keenness on optimizing the tourism services and promoting partnership with the private sector.

31 Saudi Movies Screened Since 2018

The General Commission for Audiovisual Media has said that 31 Saudi movies have been produced and screened since the opening of cinemas in 2018, to support local production and diversify sources of income and entertainment, as per Vision 2030.

The commission also announced the top 5 Saudi movies in Saudi cinemas: “Sattar”, which topped the list of most attended movies, with nearly 1 million tickets sold; “Alhamour”,”Born a King”,” Shams Al-Ma’arif, and ” Masameer”. All these movies contribute to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030.
