Tunisian Prime Minister discusses with Al-Hawij increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.

Tunisian Prime Minister Ahmed Al-Hashani discussed with the Minister of Economy and Trade of the Government of National Unity, Muhammad Al-Hawij, who is currently visiting Tunisia, the developing economic and trade relations and increasing the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.

Al-Hawij stressed during the meeting, according to the Ministry of Economy, the directives of the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government to start implementing the Libyan-Tunisian corridor project towards sub-Saharan African countries and to develop a joint future vision to maintain food and drug security between the two countries.

For his part, the Tunisian Prime Minister stressed the importance of this meeting within the framework of strengthening Tunisian-Libyan relations, noting the role of the private sector in development and trade relations in various fields between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed activating previous agreements and memorandums of understanding and putting them into practice, as well as evaluating the commercial border crossing, Ras-Jedir, in addition to the ongoing preparations for holding the meeting of the Joint Higher Committee to be held in Tripoli.

The meeting was attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Tunisia, Mustafa Iqdara, the Tunisian Minister of Economy and Planning, Samir Said, the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Kulthum Ben Rajab, the President of the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raed, and the President of the Tunisian Federation of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts, Samir Magoul.

Industry Minister receives Thai ambassador

Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce received Piyapak Sricharoen, Thailand Ambassador to Bahrain.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and discussed topics of common interest.

The minister praised the progress of relations between the two kingdoms, noting the importance of enhancing cooperation to develop the economic partnership and achieve goals.

The ambassador expressed his country’s aspiration to develop bilateral relations, wishing Bahrain further prosperity.

Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher at 11424 Points

The Saudi Stock Exchange main index ended trading higher today, gaining 137.91 points to close at 11424.12 points.

The total value of trading reported was SAR 6.2 billion, while the total number of shares traded was 215 million.

The Saudi Parallel Market Index (NOMU) ended the day by losing 121.76 points to close at 23580.70 points, with a valuation of SAR 45.3 million.

Libyan-Indian talks in Tripoli to activate bilateral cooperation in various fields.

Libyan-Indian talks were held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Tripoli, headed by the Director General of the Asia Department, “Fadel Al Kaseh” and the Director General of the West Asia and North Africa Department of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “Pradeep Singh Rajpruhit.” Focused on discussing the activation of bilateral cooperation in Various fields, the return of work at the Indian embassy, lifting restrictions on Indian companies and workers, and reviewing the signed agreements.

The two parties agreed to activate the Political Consultation Committee and the Joint Committee as soon as possible, to exchange high-level visits between the two countries, as well as to activate discussions about the Prosthetic Limbs Center and the Pan-African Electronic Health Network (VBAB) project for distance education, linking hospitals with India, and the Indian Regional Training Center.

During the talks, the Indian side offered to contribute to the training of security personnel and cooperation in the cyber and security field, and its willingness to return and increase training grants through the Indian cooperation program in various fields.

NOC: Libyan oil production records 1.212.000 barrels.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced yesterday that the production of crude oil amounted to one million and 212 thousand barrels during the past 24 hours.

The NOC stated on its Facebook page that condensate production amounted to 49,000 barrels during the past 24 hours.

The NOC said that the total domestic consumption of natural gas amounted to one billion and 181 million cubic feet during the past 24 hours.
