816 pilgrims returned to Sana’a International Airport, coming from the Holy Land via Yemeni Airlines, after performing Hajj and Umrah rituals for the current year 1445 AH.

The first flight of the first group carried 175 male and female pilgrims, the second flight 165, the third 176, the fourth 150, and the fifth flight 150 male and female pilgrims.

Upon their return to Sana’a International Airport, the Guests of God expressed to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) their overwhelming joy at the completion of this year’s Hajj and Umrah rituals and their return via Sana’a Airport.

They pointed to the facilitation and completion of procedures and transactions, the upscale dealings, and the good reception by the workers at Sana’a International Airport.

Madinah: Pilgrims continue to arrive in Madinah safely and easily after completing their Hajj pilgrimage with ease and safety. The Hijrah Road and the Haramain High-Speed Railway are witnessing a continuous influx of pilgrims from Makkah, creating a beautiful spiritual scene. Relevant authorities are working to oversee the pilgrims’ arrival at their accommodations, in coordination with field service offices, as part of the dedicated services and fieldwork provided by various security, service, health, and volunteer agencies in Madinah, under the supervision of the Hajj Committee in the region. Many pilgrims are keen to visit the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah after Hajj to pray and visit the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), in addition to visiting various mosques and historical sites connected to his life.

Riyadh: The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that over 2,000 trips were successfully conducted through the electric scooter initiative, proving its effectiveness over two years of trials. This year, the initiative was launched as a primary service aimed at facilitating the movement of elderly and disabled pilgrims, TGA said in a news release.

According to the statement, the initiative aimed to establish permanent pathways to ease the mobility of pilgrims across three routes. The first route ran between Arafat and Muzdalifah, spanning 4 km. The second route was the western bridge leading to the Jamarat facility, with a length of 1.2 km. The third route was the eastern bridge, also leading to the Jamarat facility and covering 1.2 km.

The electric scooters were available in various models to meet the diverse needs of the pilgrims, including four-wheeled, three-wheeled, and two-wheeled versions. This variety ensured fast, efficient, and safe mobility options for all users.

The authority first experi
mented with electric scooters during the 1443 Hajj season, then expanded the trial in 1444, and has now fully implemented the service in the 1445 Hajj season. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to provide diverse and comfortable services for those visiting the Holy Mosque and the holy sites.

Madinah: The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) captured various scenes of joy among pilgrims during their visit to Madinah.

SPA documented the happiness and delight of the Two Holy Mosques’ guests in the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque, as well as at other mosques and historical sites in Madinah, after completing their Hajj and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque. This comes amid great efforts and noble work by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to facilitate the pilgrims’ journey.
