Death Toll from Ongoing Israeli Offensive in Gaza Rises to 37,372 Martyrs

Gaza, The number of casualties due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 37,372 martyrs and 85,452 injured, mostly women and children, Gaza’s Ministry of Health said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Health highlighted that the Israeli occupation army committed three pogroms against families in the Gaza enclave during the past 24 hours, resulting in 25 martyrs and 80 injured with several of victims are still under the rubble and on roads, while medical and civil defense personnel couldn’t reach them, the statement read.

For the 256th day, the unprecedented Israeli offensive in the Strip is raging primarily from sea, land, and air, resulting in tens of thousands of martyrs, injured and missing people, in addition to massive devastation of critical infrastructure and unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe due to the halt of the delivery food, water, medicine and fuel supplies.

Pilgrims Cast Stones at Jamarat on Second Day of Tashreeq, Those in a Hurry Head to the Grand Mosque for Farewell Tawaf


Mina: Today, on the second day of Tashreeq, pilgrims completed the ritual of casting stones at the Jamarat, which entails throwing pebbles at three pillars, starting with Jamarat Al-Oula (the small pillar), continuing with Jamarat Al-Wusta (the middle pillar) and finishing with Jamarat Al-Aqaba (the large pillar).

Pilgrims in a hurry then swiftly proceeded to the Grand Mosque to perform the Farewell Tawaf (circumambulation).

Authorities ensured smooth movement throughout the day, facilitating pilgrims’ access to the Jamarat Bridge for stoning, for returning to their Mina residences, and while heading to Makkah if in a hurry for the Farewell Tawaf.

Major Earthquake Hits Eastern Iran, Kills Two

Tehran, An earthquake measuring 5 on the Richter scale jolted Kashmar city in Khorasan Province, eastern Iran, killing two persons.

According to the Seismological Monitoring Center of the Geophysical Institute of Tehran University, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6 km below the Earth surface. No material damages have been reported until this moment.

Prime Minister of Niger Leaves Jeddah After Performing Hajj


Jeddah, Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger Lamine Zeine Ali Mahaman left Jeddah today after having performed Hajj rituals.

He was seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Jeddah Governor Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi and other senior officials.

Ukraine: Over 528,000 Russian Soldiers Killed Since Start of War

Kyiv, The Ukrainian army announced on Tuesday that 528,620 Russian soldiers have been killed since the start of the Russian military operation.

According to a statement of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russia lost 7,974 tanks, 15,307 armored vehicles, 13,959 artillery systems, 1,104 multiple-launch missile systems, 853 air defense systems, 2,297 cruise missiles, 359 fighter jets, 326 choppers, and 28 warships.

Additionally, 2,344 special equipment, one submarine, 18,967 vehicles and fuel tanks, and 11,187 drones were destroyed, the statement added.

Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine in 2022, there have been conflicting reports about the extent of losses of both sides. Each of them claims that the other has suffered heavy losses, without being able to independently verify the veracity of this information, due to the ongoing fighting.

Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites Adopts Method to Prepare and Distribute Sacrificial Meat in 27 Countries


Makkah: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites (RCMC) conducts thorough examination on the sacrificial meat before preparing it and distributing it to those entitled to it in 27 countries.

RCMC said it is using the latest methods of preparing sacrificial meat, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi (livestock for sacrifice) which facilitates sacrifice rituals and the distribution of meat for pilgrims.

The Adahi platform, which is supervised by RCMC, presents a comprehensive electronic service that makes it easy for Muslims to perform the rituals of sacrifice, ransom, charity, and aqiqah (sacrificing livestock when a child is born) via the internet in accordance with Islamic law, and to distribute meat to those entitled to it in a safe and reliable manner.
