Pilgrims at Arafat Express Immense Joy in Hajj, Grateful for Kingdom’s Leadership


Arafat: Some guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit expressed their pleasure to reach Arafat.

“The joy of arriving at Arafat is immense, and we cannot express enough gratitude to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for their tremendous efforts in serving Islam and Muslims,” the pilgrims expressed.

They also praised the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance for organizing the program excellently and providing all services to the pilgrims.

The pilgrims stated that the Kingdom and its wise leadership hold a great place in the hearts of Muslims due to hosting the Two Holy Mosques, the holy sites, and their tremendous efforts in serving the pilgrims and Umrah performers.

Global Reach of Arafah Sermon Translation to 621 Million Beneficiaries and Listeners


Arafat: The simultaneous translation project for the Arafah sermon into 20 foreign languages was confirmed by President of the Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Sudais. This achievement has set a new record by reaching 621 million beneficiaries and listeners, the highest number in the presidency’s history.

Dr. Al-Sudais clarified that the translation project of the Arafah sermon, the largest of its kind in promoting the comprehensive concept of moderation for the nation, is a pioneering global initiative and one of the most important pillars of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. The project aims to deliver the message of the Two Holy Mosques and the contents of the translated sermons, emphasizing the foundations of coexistence and rapprochement. It also aims to promote dialogue, love, brotherhood, and cooperation worldwide through the translation project.

The project of translating the Arafah sermon expands ann
ually to ensure it reaches the largest number of listeners in multiple international languages. The sermon is broadcast through electronic platforms, radio stations (FM), and the channels of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet.

Medical Services Department at Interior Ministry Launches 12th Annual Blood Donation Campaign


Arafat: The General Department of Medical Services at the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Security Forces Hospital in Makkah, launched the 12th annual blood donation campaign and an awareness exhibition to provide informative and motivational messages about the importance of blood donation. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Regional Laboratory at the Ministry of Health.

The campaign is part of the general medical services plan to support the central blood bank in the holy capital with blood and its derivatives during the Hajj season, contributing to the enhancement of public health.

Saudi Scouts Assist Lost Pilgrims at Arafat


Arafat: Members of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association are assisting lost pilgrims in Arafat. Since Friday evening, they have been working alongside Ministry of Hajj and Umrah employees through 10 “Guidance and Care” centers. Using barcode technology on pilgrims’ “Nusuk” cards, they efficiently reunite lost individuals with their designated residences.

220 Saudi Female Scouts Assist with Crowd Management in Makkah


Arafat: About 220 females from the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association continue their voluntary work serving pilgrims by assisting the security forces at the Grand Mosque with crowd management and providing humanitarian services.

The scouts help organize pilgrims, direct them to women’s prayer places, guide the lost, and assist the elderly and people with special needs.

Scouts leader Ghada bint Abdullah Al-Mutaileq said that the passion of the Saudi female scouts for doing good and serving others enables them to excel in this task. Moreover, the many years of experience of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association in crowd management have allowed its members to develop distinguished expertise that is refined annually.

Ministry of Health Reports Over 112,000 Pilgrims Served to Date


Arafat: The Ministry of Health provided comprehensive medical care to over 112,000 pilgrims from the first day of Dhul-Qi’dah to the Day of Arafah, 1445 AH.

The ministry deployed a wide range of medical resources to serve pilgrims’ needs, including medical and specialty clinics, pharmacies, kidney dialysis centers, intensive care units, and isolation units.

Highly specialized care was available, with medical teams performing 20 open-heart surgeries, 230 cardiac catheterizations, and 819 kidney dialysis procedures. Over 2,491 pilgrims received treatment at hospitals and medical centers.
