Hajj Season Sees Streamlined Justice with 40 Specialized Prosecution Offices


Arafat: The Public Prosecution has deployed a specialized network for the Hajj season 1445 AH to ensure a safe and secure experience for all pilgrims. This network consists of 40 prosecution offices, including two mobile units, strategically positioned around Makkah and the holy sites.

These offices are staffed with prosecution members who have extensive experience in handling Hajj-related incidents. They operate around the clock throughout the season and work collaboratively with other judicial and security agencies. The primary objective is to resolve cases swiftly and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and worry-free Hajj for all.

To achieve this goal, the Public Prosecution prioritizes immediate case closure. This streamlined approach guarantees prompt justice and allows pilgrims to return home with peace of mind.

Pilgrims of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program Ascend from Arafat to Muzdalifah


Muzdalifah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance announced the success of the Nafrah (March) of pilgrims, performing the Hajj under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, from Arafat to Muzdalifah, amidst integrated services and a complete atmosphere of peace and tranquility.

After arriving at their residence in Muzdalifah, the pilgrims performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers combined, following the Sunnah of the Prophet-peace be upon him-to prepare themselves for the march to Mina to throw pebbles at Jamarat Al-Aqabah and perform the sacrifice ritual.

Modern buses have been prepared for the pilgrims’ Nafrah from Arafat to Muzdalifah, where accommodations for their stay have been arranged.

RCMC Improves Efficiency of Connecting Mina to Grand Mosque through Public Transport Lanes


Makkah: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites (RCMC) has enhanced the efficiency of connecting Mina to the Grand Mosque through public transport lanes to serve pilgrims. This was achieved by allocating four transport lanes, namely (2, 3, 4, and 5), with the objective of enhancing the quality of services provided and increasing passenger rates.

The frequency path operates via an autonomous lane between the stations and their terminal destinations.

The stations are situated in Bab Ali, Bab al-Malek, and Al-Masafi.

MWAN Oversees First Investment Model for Establishing and Operating Waste Engineering Cell in Makkah


Arafat: The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) announced the launch of several initiatives and projects aimed at providing a clean and healthy environment for pilgrims throughout the Hajj season. These initiatives reflect MWAN’s commitment to environmental protection and improving the quality of life in Makkah, as part of ongoing efforts to preserve the environment and enhance environmental awareness during the Hajj season 1445 AH.

Among the projects prioritized by MWAN is the construction and operation of an engineering cell for disposing of solid waste from slaughterhouses in Makkah. This project aims to reduce the negative environmental and health impacts associated with such waste. Additionally, it serves as a practical and effective model for handling slaughterhouse waste, striving for environmental sustainability and providing a healthy, clean environment for the pilgrims.

Domestic slaughterhouses in Makkah produce over 22,000 tons of waste annually, with 12,169 tons generated during the Hajj
season alone. These figures highlight the crucial role of MWAN in managing these massive amounts of waste in sustainable and efficient ways.

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH Crown Prince Receive Cables of Congratulations from Leaders of Islamic Countries on the Occasion of Eid Al-Adha


Jeddah: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, have received cables of congratulations from the leaders of Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince sent cables of thanks in reply, appreciating their good wishes and sincere supplications expressed by the leaders. They prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow goodness upon the Islamic nation and ensure its continued security and stability.
