Al-Jalajel Meets with Grenada Counterpart


Geneva, Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel met with his counterpart from Grenada, Philip Telesford, in Geneva, Switzerland, where they are attending the meetings of the World Health Assembly (WHA77).

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance health cooperation in their public and private sectors as well as topics of mutual interest.

Minister of Health Discusses Cooperation with Chinese Delegation


Geneva, Minister of Health Fahad bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel and a Chinese delegation headed by National Health Commission Vice Minister Cao Xuetao met on the sidelines of the 77th session of the World Health Assembly (WHA77) held at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in health services, health security, investment opportunities in the health sector, and strengthening global health.

Riyadh to Host World Esports Championship


Riyadh, The first edition of the World Esports Championship will be hosted in Riyadh from July 4 to August 25. The event is the largest in the gaming and electronic-sports (esports) sector and will bring together top players, clubs, influencers, and publishers. The cup events will take place at the new Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) Arena, which is the world’s largest electronic-sports area.

The SEF Arena consists of five halls across two buildings with a capacity to accommodate around 7,500 people. It also features multiple shops, two dining areas, and a building dedicated to the Saudi Academy for Esports, covering a total area of approximately 35,000 square meters. The SEF Arena will serve as the venue for all local, regional, and international tournaments and events held in the Kingdom.

“To have the largest electronic sports area in the world is the result of years of work and efforts undertaken by SEF. The SEF Arena is a testament to the Kingdom’s ambition to become a center for gaming,” said SEF chief
executive Turki Al-Fawzan.

Saudi Embassy in Cairo Issues Statement Regarding Disappearance of Citizen


Cairo, The Kingdom’s embassy in Egypt issued a statement today on the Saudi citizen who went missing in Cairo, Hattan bin Ghazi Shatta.

The embassy said that it began its procedures and communications with the Egyptian security authorities on the first day of the citizen’s disappearance, and that the security services immediately began searching and investigating the circumstances of his disappearance, using the surveillance cameras available to them. Cameras were able to record his departure from the area in which he lived in El Tagamo’ El Khames in New Cairo.

The embassy said that it is following up on the investigation by the security authorities, and in coordination with the missing citizen’s family.

KSrelief Medical Clinics Provide Services to 2,349 Syrian Refugees at Jordan’s Zaatri Camp


Amman, The medical clinics operated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) at Jordan’s Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees received 2,349 patients during the third week of May.

The women’s clinic received 152 patients, while the ear and nose clinic treated 65 patients suffering from sinus, pharynx, tonsil, and middle ear infections. X-rays were conducted for 23 patients, resulting in 335 procedures.

Furthermore, 146 vaccinations were administered to 56 patients, and medications were dispensed to 205 patients with chronic illnesses. The pharmacy recorded a total of 1,227 prescriptions.
