Funded By KSrelief, Lebanese Social Association Carries out 48 Ambulance Missions during Last Week


Beirut, Funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the ambulance service of Subul Al Salam Social Association in the Miniyeh district, north Lebanon, carried out 48 missions during the past week.

These missions included transporting patients to and from hospitals, as well as providing ambulance services to individuals injured in car accidents within the Miniyeh district.

This initiative is part of the project aimed at supporting ambulance services and transportation in refugee areas and the host communities in Lebanon.

Jazan Border Guards Arrest 13 Individuals Attempting to Smuggle 195 Kg of Khat


Jizan, The land patrols of the Border Guards in Al-Dayer governorate, Jazan Region, have apprehended thirteen Ethiopian nationals attempting to smuggle 195 kilograms of khat. Preliminary statutory procedures have been completed, and the seized items were handed over to the competent authority.

The security authorities call upon citizens and residents to report all information available about any activities related to drug smuggling or selling to the General Directorate of Narcotics Control by calling the numbers 911 for Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and 999 for the rest of the regions, or by email at 995@gdnc.gov.sa. All calls are treated confidentially.

KSrelief Distributes 820 Food Baskets in Pakistan


Islamabad, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 820 food baskets in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan yesterday , benefiting 5,700 of the most vulnerable and needy individuals in flood-affected areas, as part of the fourth phase of the Food Security Support Project in Pakistan for the year 2024.

This comes within the framework of relief and humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the KSrelief to support food security in countries in need around the world.

Saudi Arabia Strengthens Strategic Partnership with UK in Digital Government Sector


Riyadh: The Governor of the Digital Government Authority (DGA) and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan, has concluded his visit to the United Kingdom, during which he met with several leaders and officials from both the public and private sectors. The purpose of these meetings was to enhance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the UK in the field of the digital economy and to learn about international experiences in digital government.

During the visit, the Governor participated in the Annual 21st Middle East and North Africa Conference, where he delivered a keynote speech showcasing Saudi Arabia’s leading model in digital transformation. He highlighted the Kingdom’s best practices and success stories in the field of digital government, with the aim of leveraging experiences in this promising domain.

Eng. Al-Suwaiyan also held meetings with the Parliamentary Secretary for the British Cabinet Office, Alex Burghart; the British Mi
nister for Data and Digital Infrastructure, Julia Lopez; and the Minister for Technology and the Digital Economy, Saqib Bhatti, along with several officials from governmental bodies and CEOs of major companies. These meetings aimed to discuss expanding the strategic partnership in the field of digital government between the two countries.

Moreover, the Saudi Ambassador to the UK, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, received Eng. Al-Suwaiyan and the accompanying delegation at the embassy. The meeting aimed to review the efforts of the DGA in developing digital government services and to discuss ways to enhance cooperation.

Furthermore, the Governor met with the Saudi Cultural Attaché in the UK, Dr. Amal bint Jameel Fatani. Additionally, he held a meeting with a select group of Saudi scholarship students at the Saudi Cultural Mission in London. During this meeting, they discussed leading initiatives in digital transformation, strategic directions for digital government, and listened to their id
eas and the main challenges they face in dealing with digital government services. This was aimed at improving their digital experience and providing services that meet their aspirations and ensure their satisfaction.

This visit is part of the DGA’s efforts to enhance partnerships and international presence, building on its role in leading international efforts to achieve a sustainable digital economy in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Minister of State for Interior Affairs Visits Doha International Book Fair

Doha: HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani visited the Police Academy’s pavilion at the 33rd Doha International Book Fair at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

His Excellency reviewed the pavilion’s content which showcases scientific and research publications and periodical journals of the Security Research and Studies Center, along with the most important awards received by the academy at the level of the Arab region.

The Ministry of Interior reported on Saturday that the academic participation in the fair, represented by the the Security Research and Studies Center, came a spart of its strategy to spread security awareness and serve the community, affirming that the Police Academy participates with scientific symposiums within the cultural programme on the margins of the event during evening times.

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) has secured the ISO 31000 certification for its excellence in risk management, by applying the highest standards of quality and reliability in this field.

This achievement is the culmination of the Ministry’s efforts in implementing comprehensive risk management systems in line with international standards. The Ministry’s efforts also included enhancing the ability to effectively analyze and evaluate financial, operational, strategic and technical risks and take appropriate decisions on their impact. This has contributed to consolidating the Ministry’s position as a leading entity in the field of risk management.

The “ISO 31000” certification, awarded by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is granted to entities that successfully implement standards in systems, policies, and procedures. This certification enhances the organization’s ability to make proactive decisions in leveraging opportunities and managing challenges. It provides a com
