Jeddah: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the death of Shaikh Abdullah bin Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa.

The Crown Prince expressed deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the king and the families of the deceased, praying Allah to protect King Hamad.

KSrelief Distributes 600 Food Baskets in Sudan


Sennar State, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 600 food baskets to needy and displaced families in Sennar State, Republic of Sudan, benefiting 1,900 individuals as part of the food security support project in Sudan.

This falls within the framework of the humanitarian and relief efforts carried out by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the humanitarian crisis of the Sudanese people.

Arab League: Arab Summit Convenes Amid Unprecedented Gaza Crisis


Manama, Assistant Secretary-General for Social Affairs at the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh emphasized the crucial timing of the upcoming Arab Summit in Bahrain, given the ongoing crisis in Palestine.

Addressing the preparatory meeting, Abu Ghazaleh highlighted the dire humanitarian, social, and economic situation in Gaza caused by the Israeli aggression.

She praised the Arab countries for providing aid to Gaza, but stressed the need for continued support to alleviate the suffering in the strip.

Abu Ghazaleh announced that the Arab League has developed an emergency response plan to address the economic and social fallout of the aggression, and highlighted the importance of the private sector and social development institutions in supporting effective social policies.

She pointed to several key topics on the meeting’s agenda, including a proposal for a new social contract and the Arab Vision 2045, which aim to significantly improve the lives of Arab citizens.

Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi Participates in OCA General Assembly Meeting in Thailand


Riyadh: Representing President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, his deputy Prince Fahd bin Jalawi, chairman of the education committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), participated in the 43rd OCA General Assembly meeting held today in Bangkok, Thailand.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly meeting, Prince Fahd held a meeting with the newly elected President of the National Olympic Committee of Iraq, Aqeel Muftin, where he emphasized the importance of advancing the memorandum of understanding signed between the Olympic committees of the two countries.

Prince Fahd also met with the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, Gennadiy Golovkin, to discuss relations between the Olympic committees of the two countries and cooperation, particularly in winter sports.

Additionally, he met with Otabek Umarov, the vice-president of the OCA, to discuss projects between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the council.
