A graduation ceremony for first-level students at Al-Mustafa School was held in Al-Mahwit Governorate, honoring the top students.

At the ceremony, the statement emphasized the importance of Qur’anic schools to graduate a generation armed with Allah’s guidance and capable of thwarting the enemies’ plans.

Al-Dabaiba discusses with Al-Burhan a number of joint regional and international files.


The Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received today, Monday, in Tripoli, the Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, who is on an official visit to Libya.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated that the two sides discussed a number of common regional and international files between the two countries.

The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, and the Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, held a bilateral discussion session in Tripoli this afternoon, in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, which reviewed ways to strengthen, support and develop the extended bilateral relations between the two countries in a way that serves the peoples of Libya and Sudan.

Libyan-Sudanese summit discussions in Tripoli.


A bilateral discussion session was held in the capital, Tripoli, this Monday afternoon, between the President of the Presidential Council, ‘Mohamed Al-Manfi,’ and the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, First General, ‘Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan.’

The media office of the Presidential Council reported that the discussions attended by the delegations of the two countries dealt with reviewing ways to enhance, support and develop the bilateral relations extending between the two countries in a way that serves the peoples of Libya and Sudan, where it was agreed to exchange delegations between the two countries and activate the agreements signed between them, in addition to issues of common interest, including those that leads to peace and stability in Sudan and the region.

According to the media office, Al-Burhan appreciated the positive positions of the State of Libya towards Sudan expressed by the President of the Presidential Council in regional and international forums, calling for and supporting Suda
n’s unity, national security and stability, and rejecting negative foreign interference in the two brotherly countries.

Al-Aqouri meets the Italian ambassador to Libya in Benghazi.


The Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, ‘Youssef Al-Aqouri,’ met with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, ‘Gianluca Alberini,’ along with the Italian Consul in the city of Benghazi, ‘Francesco De Luigi.’

The House of Representatives spokesman said on Monday: ‘The meeting, which was held at the Council’s headquarters in the city of Benghazi, discussed a number of topics of common interest, most notably the migration crisis, and investment in the field of energy and fishing.’

During the meeting, Al-Aqouri also listened to the Italian ambassador’s point of view on a number of files, including the signing of a memorandum of understanding to find a solution for the Libyan youth imprisoned in Italy. The Italian ambassador also reviewed the most prominent joint cooperation programs, according to Belhaq.

For his part, the Chairman of the Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee expressed his thanks for the assistance provided by Italy to the areas affected by Hurricane Daniel, stress
ing the need to enhance coordination between the two sides to respond to the challenges facing the region and natural disasters, expressing Libya’s aspiration to benefit from Italian expertise in the field of agriculture and restoration of antiquities and to continue cooperation at the municipal and university levels.

For his part, Ambassador Alberini stressed Italy’s keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, and for his country to be a friend to all Libyans, explaining that an Italian civil aviation committee visited Benina International Airport during the last period to evaluate the airport’s conditions for the opening of flights from Benghazi to Rome. Three Italian teams working in the field of archaeology will visit the city of Shahat, indicating Italy’s interest in the field of agriculture in the southern regions, and this cooperation will soon move to the rest of the regions.

Trabelsi participates in the 41st session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.


Interior Minister-Designate, Major General, Imad Trabelsi, arrived yesterday in Tunis to participate in the 41st session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, which will be held today.

Trabelsi was received at Tunis-Carthage Airport by the Tunisian Interior Minister, Kamal El-Feki, the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Mohammed Koman, and a number of officials in the Council’s General Secretariat, as well as the Libyan ambassador to Tunisia.

The 41st session will be launched with the participation of the interior ministers of the Arab countries and high-level security delegations, in addition to representatives of the League of Arab States, Interpol, the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism, the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and the Arab Police Sports Federation.
