Parliament discusses number of topics related to performance of Ministry of Industry and Trade


In its session on Monday, headed by the Speaker of the Council, Brother Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, the Parliament discussed a number of topics related to the performance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, including the procedures and measures taken to implement the decision to boycott Zionist goods.

The session was attended by Minister of State for the Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council of the caretaker government, Dr. Ali Abu Haliqa.

The Minister of Industry, Muhammad Al-Mutahhar, stressed his keenness to fulfill the House of Representatives’ request to attend to discuss issues related to the ministry’s performance… pointing to the number of procedures and measures taken by the ministry regarding the boycott decision and alternatives to the items specified in the boycott list of Zionist and American products since the decision issued by the Council of Ministers entered into force.

Minister Al-Mutahhar also confirmed that the rationing situation for basic materials is stable, indic
ating that the stock of food, supplies and medicines is sufficient for several months.

In the context of their discussions, Council members stressed the need for the government to fulfill its responsibilities in directing the ports of entry to prevent the import or entry of materials identified in the boycott list of Zionist, American and British products and countries that support the Zionist entity.

They pointed out the importance of re-evaluating national industries by relying on local raw materials, searching for alternatives to the products included in the boycott’s list, and confronting any effects of that.

Council members urged the government to create the appropriate investment environment within the framework of a strategy for national production, work to modernize and develop legislation and materials that need amendments to keep pace with economic transformations, and take on the challenge to strengthen the economic front in parallel with the development and modernization the military front is w
itnessing.

They stressed the need to strengthen control over the prices of goods and services and ensure that prices do not vary in stores and commercial markets, as well as control the quality of goods, and combat expired goods because of the health and environmental damage they cause

Yemeni armed forces target two American ships in Gulf of Aden


Statement by the Yemeni Armed Forces

In the name of Allah

Allah almighty said (Permission has been given to those who have been fought because they have been wronged, and indeed, God is Able to grant them victory.) God Almighty has spoken the truth.)

Truimphing the operessed people of Palestine, who until this moment are subjected to aggression and siege in the Gaza Strip, and within the response to the American-British aggression against our country.

The naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out – with the help of Allah Almighty – two specific military operations in which they targeted two American ships in the Gulf of Aden, the first was ‘Sea Champion’ and the other was ‘Navis Fortuna’. The targeting operation was carried out with a number of appropriate naval missiles, and the casualties were accurate and direct, thanks to God.

The total number of armed forces operations during the past twenty-four hours reached four operations. The first targeted a British ship and the operation resulted in
its complete sinking, thanks to Allah. The second operation targeted the American aircraft ‘MQ9’ in the airspace of Hodeidah Governorate, while the last two operations targeted two American ships.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm their full right to take further military measures in the Red and Arab seas in defense of our people, our country, and our nation, and in confirmation of their position in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, and that their operations in the Red and Arab Bahrain will escalate and will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.

Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs, the best protector, and the best helper
