Public awareness programs for ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle in Taiz


A meeting in Taiz governorate discussed Ramadan plans and programs, and the mechanism for implementing the outcomes of the summer courses, within the framework of the general mobilization campaign for the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle.

At the meeting, the Taiz governorate Undersecretary for Education Affairs stressed the importance of understanding all training programs and outcomes.

Electricity Interconnection Committee between Libya and southern European countries reviews bilateral cooperation with the Italian Electricity Company.

Tripoli: A team from the Electrical Interconnection Committee between Libya and the countries of Southern Europe held a meeting in Rome, attended by the Libyan side, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Electricity and Renewable Energy Affairs, Chairman of the Electrical Interconnection Committee between Libya and the Southern European Countries, Osama Al-Darrat, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy Agency, Abdul Salam Al-Ansari, and the Chairman of the Board of the Renewable Energy Holding Company, Aseel Artima, and on the Italian side the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Italian Electricity Company ‘Giusiena Di Foggia’ and representatives of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Protection and the Italian Electricity Company.

The meeting discussed a number of proposals to strengthen the chances of success for this project, which will give Libya a pivotal role in transferring energy between Africa and Europe and exploiting the vast sources of renewable energi
es.

Al-Darrat stressed the need to intensify holding these meetings and invite the Italian side to attend the next meeting that will be arranged in Libya.

The meetings come within the framework of implementing the national strategy to develop the area of renewable energies and energy efficiency and the steps and procedures it requires, especially infrastructure and the necessary projects to transmit the electrical energy that will be generated.

Anti-Corruption refers four defendants in corruption cases


The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority approved the referral of four defendants in serious corruption cases to the Anti-Corruption Prosecution to complete the procedures for initiating and filing a criminal case before the court.

This came after the Commission discussed the results of the investigation into a number of serious corruption cases that harmed the state’s interest.

Discussing aspects related to completing general plans and establishing neighborhood units in Al-Bayda


A meeting in Al-Bayda province, headed by the Governor, Abdullah Idris, discussed issues related to completing the general plans and establishing neighborhood units in a number of the province’s directorates.

The meeting, which included the directors of the Land and Urban Planning Authority branch in the province, Muhammad Al-Dharafi, the province’s Public Works Office, Engineer Muhammad Gibran Makram, and the Executive Unit for Projects, Engineer Faisal Al-Sudani, reviewed the outcomes of the meeting held in Sana’a, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, the Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, the Deputy Minister of Local Administration, Dr. Qasim Al-Hamran, and the leadership of the General Authority for Lands and Urban Planning, discussed issues related to general plans in implementation of the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council regarding lowering the plans and constructing neighborhood units.

anisms for submitting plans, units adjacent to the main network, and constructing streets in a number of districts.

Governor Abdullah Idris stressed the necessity of completing neighborhood plans , units and reducing random construction in the targeted districts, stressing the concerted efforts and working in a team spirit to implement the tasks, and the commitment to conforming the plans and improving the services provided to citizens.

He stressed the local authority’s keenness to support the efforts of the Land Authority branch and the Public Works Office to ensure the preservation of state lands and property and the removal of slums.

Start of fifth session of training project on criminal cases


The fifth training session of the training project on the basics of investigation, disposition and implementation of criminal cases began in Sanaa for 32 judges from the prosecution offices of the governorates of Saada, Al Mahwit, Al Jawf, Hajjah and Amran.

At the opening of the course, the Dean of the Higher Institute pointed out the importance of the course in enhancing judicial performance and achieving justice.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs receives copies of the credentials of the Japanese Ambassador to Libya.


Tripoli: The Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ‘Al-Taher Hussein,’ received today, Monday, copies of the credentials of the Ambassador of Japan to the State of Libya, ‘Shimura Izora.’

According to what was published on the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook account, the two sides reviewed the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and the efforts made to develop and strengthen them in all fields.
