Minister of Agriculture discusses possibility of supporting FAO for agriculture


The Minister of Agriculture met with the representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Yemen, Dr. Hussein Jadin.

The meeting discussed the possibility of FAO supporting agricultural development projects, including supporting the locust project by providing vehicles for spraying campaigns to combat desert locusts.

It touched on aspects of cooperation and support to provide the agricultural sector’s needs for modern devices, equipment and technologies.

Event of Yemeni-Chinese Institute on anniversary of martyr leader


The Yemeni-Chinese Institute of Technical and Applied Sciences organized a cultural awareness event on the anniversary of the martyr leader, coinciding with the national campaign to support Al-Aqsa.

At the event, the Deputy Minister of Guidance considered that the martyr leader, al-Sayeed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, with his awareness, faith methodology, and insightful vision, revealed the conspiracies and plans of the enemies, and developed solutions from the Holy Qur’an to confront and thwart these dangers and aggressive plots.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for the Education Sector inspected the progress of the educational process at Shamlan School in the Maeen area of Sana’a.

Tripoli: A meeting was held yesterday between the Director of the Office of the Minister of Interior in charge, Major General Abdel Wahed Abdel Samad, and the Rule of Law, Transitional Justice, and Human Rights Department of the UNSMIL.

The ministry stated that the meeting discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the Interior Ministry and the Rule of Law Department of UNSMIL in all security areas related to the work of the human rights office.

It highlighted that this meeting is part of the targeted policies pursued by the Ministry to develop the performance of the Ministry’s Human Rights Office and qualify its members.

The head of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah, received today, Monday, the second financial disclosure statement from the Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawa.

The procedures for receiving the declaration were attended by the head of the Authority’s Department of Financial Disclosure and Combating Unjust Enrichment and Enrichment, Muhammad Al-Qanis.

Foundation course in integrated child health care in Taiz field


The foundational training course in the field of integrated today ,Monday, child health care began in Taiz province, organized by the health office in the province.

The eight-day course, supported by UNICEF, aims to provide 24 health personnel in the districts of Al-Salu, Mawiya, Shara’b Al-Salam, Shara’b Al-Runa, and Maqbanah, with knowledge in the field of integrated care, identifying danger signs in children, how to evaluate and classify diseases.

At the opening of the course, Deputy Director of the province Health Office, Dr. Fadl Al-Qubati, pointed out the importance of the course in developing skills and capabilities, improving the level of service in health facilities, and revitalizing knowledge in the field of integrated child health care.

While the coordinator of the child health program in the province, Dr. Raya Ghanem, explained that training health personnel in facilities contributes to reducing mortality rates among mothers and children.
