The Central Bank confirms its support for the National Oil Corporation.


Tripoli: The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Siddiq Omar Al-Kabir, met today, Sunday, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bin Qaddara.

During the meeting, according to the bank’s media office, the support of the National Oil Corporation to raise production of oil and gas according to the plans drawn up by the corporation and to increase coordination with regard to transparency was emphasized.

Dabaiba arrives in Rome to participate in the Italian-African summit.


Rome: Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, arrived in the Italian capital, Rome, today, Sunday, to participate in the Italian-African Summit, which will be held tomorrow, Monday.

Heads of state and government from the African Union, and representatives from the European Union, will participate in this summit, according to the Prime Minister’s Media Office.

Al-Koni affirms the Presidential Council’s commitment to unifying state institutions and bringing Libya to elections


Tripoli: Representative of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, received the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Libya, Michael Unmacht.

During the meeting held today, Sunday, Al-Koni praised the efforts of countries concerned with the Libyan issue to achieve stability, and stressed the commitment of the Presidential Council to work to unify state institutions to bring Libya to the electoral stage, and Germany’s active role in the previous paths.

He stressed the need to unify efforts to develop a road map in cooperation with countries interested in the Libyan file to ensure stability.

For his part, the German Ambassador, Michael Unmacht, praised the efforts of the Presidential Council aimed at achieving stability in Libya, ways to end the transitional stages, and working with the UN envoy to achieve consensus between the parties participating in the political process.

The meeting discussed the situation in the southern regions, which suffer from a lack of capabilities and are witnessing di
splacement to the northern regions, waves of illegal immigrants and organized crime due to the fragile situation on the borders in the southern regions as a result of the events taking place in neighboring countries and their repercussions on Libya.

The African Union welcomes the decision of the International Court of Justice regarding Gaza.


Tripoli: The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, welcomed the decision issued by the International Court of Justice, which ordered the occupying entity of Palestine to prevent the commission of any act that might amount to genocide in Gaza.

‘Faki’ said in a blog post on the ‘X’ platform ((The resolution emphasizes respect for international law and the necessity of ‘Israel’ inevitably complying with its obligations under the Genocide Convention)).

Dabaiba discusses in Rome with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad bilateral cooperation and the situation in Sudan and Niger.


Rome: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdelhamid Dabaiba, received today, Sunday, at his residence in Rome, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chad, Mohamed Saleh Nazif, and the head of the Chadian delegation participating in the Italian-African Summit in the Italian capital.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between Libya and Chad, the situation in Sudan and Niger, and unifying efforts in this file, according to our government’s platform.

The meeting discussed the return of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States to its original headquarters in Tripoli, after working for more than 10 years from the Chadian capital, N’Djamena.

The two sides discussed the situation of Libyan investments in Chad, and how to provide the necessary facilities to continue their tasks in positive conditions.

Al-Sunni: The Arab group in New York is coordinating to give an executive version of the international ruling requiring the occupying entity to take measures to prevent genocide in Gaza.


Washington: The Arab Group in New York held an emergency meeting on Saturday evening to discuss the decisions of the International Court of Justice that were recently issued regarding the case brought by South Africa for acts of genocide committed by the occupying Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip.

Libya’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, said in a blog post on the X website: ‘During the meeting, consultations took place about the next practical steps and the joint Arab action in the Security Council through Algeria, the Arab representative in the Council, to work on giving an executive formula for the decisions, as well as what follows on in coordination, in the General Assembly, in the coming period)).
