Meteorology predicts cold weather and active winds


The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold to very cold weather in a number of provinces, and moderate to active winds on the coasts during the next 24 hours.

The center said in its weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that it expects cold to very cold weather in Sa’ada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients in the mountainous areas , inland plateaus, of the cold weather, and sea-goers and fishermen on the western coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, and around the Socotra archipelago, of sea turbulence and high waves.

Dr. Bin Habtoor briefed on latest developments in Gaza Strip situation


Caretaker Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor confirmed that resisting the Western Zionist enemy in the region is the right way to end the Zionist occupation of Arab lands, tampering with security, stability, and plundering the wealth of the peoples of the region.

That came during his meeting today with the representative of the Hamas movement in Yemen, Moaz Abu Shammala, the director of the Hamas office, Omar al-Sabakhi, and the political relations official in Hamas office, Abdullah Hadi, in the presence of the director of the office of the caretaker prime minister, Taha al-Sufyani.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially in Gaza Strip, in light of the continuation of the daily war of genocide against Gaza and its people, as well as what concerns the blatant criminal American-British aggression against Yemen due to its ban on ships of all nationalities heading through Bab al-Mandab Strait to the ports of occupied Palesti
ne.

During the meeting, Abu Shamaleh expressed the Palestinians’ solidarity, Hamas movement, and all resistance factions with the Yemeni people in the face of the American-British aggression, which came to serve the interests of the Israeli enemy.

Abu Shamalah conveyed the greetings of the head of the political office, the mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, and the rest of the leaders in the movement to the revolution leader ,Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the head of the Supreme Political Council, His Field Marshal Mahdi Muhammad al-Mashat, Dr. Bin Habtour, and their high appreciation for Yemen’s solidarity position.

He also conveyed the condolences and congratulations of Hamas leadership regarding the martyrs of Yemen as a result of the American-British aggression against the Yemeni army and Yemeni lands.

He considered the position of the Yemeni government and people with Palestine and the people of Gaza who are facing a comprehensive cleansing and racist war as providing an honorable model in assuming
religious, fraternal, humanitarian and moral responsibility in the effective practical victory of the just Palestinian cause and the victory of its people in Gaza Strip.

Dr. Bin Habtoor meets Ministers Mutlaq and Al Ali


The caretaker Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor, met today ,Tuesday, the Minister of Public Works and Roads, Ghaleb Mutlaq, and the Minister of State, Ahmed Al Ali, in the caretaker government.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the Public Works Ministry activity and its affiliated agencies within the framework of implementing its annual plan for the current year 1445 AH, and in the forefront is what is related to the initiatives of the national vision for building the Yemeni state.

Mutlaq explained that the Ministry was able last year, 1444 AH, to achieve many gains through the implementation of a number of vital projects in the field of roads, whether through completely rehabilitating some of them or performing maintenance on others, especially in the capital, Sana’a, and a number of other cities.

Mutlaq reviewed the results of his visit to a number of provinces, the most recent of which was his visit to Hodeida province , with the aim of assessing the level of performance of the offices
and working to develop and improve their services.

Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the overall efforts and work undertaken by Public Works Ministry during this exceptional circumstance.

He saluted the Ministry’s leadership, all its officials and employees, and its institutional extension in the capital secretariat and the provinces, for their steadfastness and the gains that are being achieved in favor of developing the role of this sector, which will be the cornerstone of the post-aggression and reconstruction phase.

Foreign Ministry calls on shipping companies to continue their operations in Red Sea as long as they do not turn to Zionist enemy


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on maritime shipping companies that take the Red Sea route to continue their operations normally as long as they do not head to the Israeli enemy or the occupied Palestinian ports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement on Tuesday, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the Yemeni naval forces limit their military operations to ships owned by the Israeli enemy or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports, and these operations are linked to ending the aggression and the entry of humanitarian aid, food and medical supplies, and fuel into the Gaza Strip.

It also stressed that the recent American-British aggression against Yemen will not change Sana’a’s firm position, as it embodies the aspirations of the Yemeni people and all the free people of the world.

Discussing coordination aspects of following up on public funds issues in Hajjah


A meeting in Hajjah, headed by the head of the province’s appeals prosecution, Judge Abdullah Al-Ahmar, discussed aspects of coordination and cooperation between the prosecution and the executive offices regarding following up on public funds cases pending before the prosecution.

The meeting, which included the deputy prosecutor of the Hajjah District Court, Judge Ali Al-Habashi, the criminal judge, Judge Nassar Nassar, the directors of the branch of the Central Organization for Control and Accounting in the province, Qais Al-Qaisi, the office of the Endowment Authority, Muhammad Aishan, and the Land Authority, Al-Azzi Al-Muntasir, reviewed the cases under investigation, the problems that led to their delay, the reasons for the delay, the solutions and treatments.

The High Electoral Commission launches awareness campaigns as part of the activities of electoral awareness ambassadors.Saudi Foreign Ministry: Attacks in Red Sea are related to war in Gaza

Tripoli: Today, Tuesday, the High National Elections Commission launched awareness campaigns for citizens organized by female electoral awareness ambassadors, under the supervision of the Women’s Support Unit, within the municipalities targeted for electing their councils during the year 2024.

The Commission’s media office stated that the campaigns target citizens of all segments to make them aware of the importance of linking the phone number to the national number in preparation for registration in the voter registry soon.

The targeted municipalities witnessed many activities and events organized by the female ambassadors, including field tours, lectures, dialogue sessions, and interviews on local radio.

According to the media office, the ambassadors provided explanations about the importance of linking the phone number to the national number in preparation for the registration process in the voter registry, how to verify the linking process, and information about the registration process and the distrib
ution of seats in the targeted municipalities.

The office explained that the female ambassadors received a series of training under the supervision of the Women’s Support Unit on how to design electoral awareness campaigns and communicate with the target audience to enhance participation in the elections.

It is noteworthy that the Awareness Ambassadors Project is a program launched by the Women’s Support Unit of the Commission since 2019, which aims to highly train a number of women to participate in electoral awareness programmes. The participation of the female ambassadors was effective and influential and contributed to raising the levels of registration in the voter registry during the year 2021.

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, confirmed that the attacks in the Red Sea are related to the war in Gaza… stressing the need to immediately stop the war in Gaza, and reduce the escalation in the Red Sea, which Saudi Arabia considers to be its own.

Bin Farhan said, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2024, held in the Swiss city of Davos, today, Tuesday: Saudi Arabia ‘does not see any sign from ‘Israel’ to stop the war and escalation.’

He added: “Our priority is to find a path to reduce the escalation, and this depends on stopping the war in Gaza,” noting that the ongoing war in Gaza “is dragging the entire region into great dangers.”

A few days ago, the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement the Kingdom’s concern about the American and British raids on Yemen, and said: It is ‘following with concern the military operations taking place in the Red Sea region and the raids that targeted sites in Yemen.’ Noting that ‘the Kingdom stresses the importance
of Maintaining the security and stability of the Red Sea region.’

The Yemeni government in Sanaa has repeatedly affirmed that ‘the Red Sea is safe for everyone except ships associated with the Zionist enemy,’ and that it is keen on its security, and that ‘Yemen’s operations target only Zionist ships linked to the occupied ports.’
