The High Electoral Commission launches awareness campaigns as part of the activities of electoral awareness ambassadors.

Tripoli: Today, Tuesday, the High National Elections Commission launched awareness campaigns for citizens organized by female electoral awareness ambassadors, under the supervision of the Women’s Support Unit, within the municipalities targeted for electing their councils during the year 2024.

The Commission’s media office stated that the campaigns target citizens of all segments to make them aware of the importance of linking the phone number to the national number in preparation for registration in the voter registry soon.

The targeted municipalities witnessed many activities and events organized by the female ambassadors, including field tours, lectures, dialogue sessions, and interviews on local radio.

According to the media office, the ambassadors provided explanations about the importance of linking the phone number to the national number in preparation for the registration process in the voter registry, how to verify the linking process, and information about the registration process and the distrib
ution of seats in the targeted municipalities.

The office explained that the female ambassadors received a series of training under the supervision of the Women’s Support Unit on how to design electoral awareness campaigns and communicate with the target audience to enhance participation in the elections.

It is noteworthy that the Awareness Ambassadors Project is a program launched by the Women’s Support Unit of the Commission since 2019, which aims to highly train a number of women to participate in electoral awareness programmes. The participation of the female ambassadors was effective and influential and contributed to raising the levels of registration in the voter registry during the year 2021.

Vigil by oil employees in Hodeida in solidarity with Palestine and denouncing American-British aggression against Yemen


Oil Company branch Employees and its affiliated facilities in Hodeida province organized a stand in solidarity with the people and the Palestinian resistance and to denounce the American-British aggression against Yemen.

The participants in the rally, which was led by the company’s branch manager, Adnan Al-Jarmouzi, and his two deputies, Abdel Sattar Zaafour and Hani Alawi, raised the Palestinian, Yemeni flags ,slogans supporting and congratulating the operations of the armed forces in the Red Sea to support the Palestinian people.

They considered the American-British aggression against Yemen a real threat to international navigation and trade, and an insistence on igniting conflict in the Arab region, denouncing the silence of Arab regimes and their continued inaction towards the war crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza Strip and the occupied territories.

The employees of the oil company branch renewed their absolute authorization and support for all the directives announced by the revolution l
eader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, expressing pride in all his sincere positions that are consistent with the demands of the Yemeni people who express them in the mass marches and the continuous momentum of million-man solidarity.

The statement affirmed that the Yemeni people will continue their firm, supportive and growing stance with the Palestinians and fight the battle of the promised conquest and holy jihad with America, the Great Satan.

It stressed the importance of continuing activities, events, and solidarity marches, declaring the mobilization, and readiness to prepare for the ongoing battle with the American, Israeli, and Western enemy until the promised conquest is achieved, pointing out that the American-British aggression will only increase the Yemeni people’s faith and insistence on their faith and principled position in supporting occupied Palestine.

A meeting chaired by Maqbouli discusses the needs of Ma’rib Governorate


A meeting held on Tuesday in Sana’a, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government for Services and Development Affairs, Dr. Hussein Maqbouli, discussed the general situation in Marib province and its needs for service and development projects.

The meeting, which included the Governor of Marib, Ali Taaiman, a member of the National Reconciliation Committee, Muhammad Al-Amir, the Deputy Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Fahd Al-Ezzi, and the Deputy Public Mobilization Officer in the Governorate, Hussein Abunab, touched on the difficulties facing the local authority in the governorate, and ways to address them.

He approved a number of measures related to strengthening the role of local authority bodies and improving the level of services.

Maqbouli pointed out that the government is making unremitting efforts with the governorate’s leadership to provide basic services in various sectors to alleviate the suffering of the people of the liberated districts.

He stressed
the importance of concerted efforts to enhance the role of local authority agencies in providing services and improving the living conditions of the people of the governorate, and the keenness of the Supreme Political Council and the government to provide the governorate’s needs for services and projects to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression and siege.

Discussing priority projects in Saada


The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation, Ibrahim Al-Hamli, discussed with the governor of Saada, Muhammad Awad, the response plan for priority projects in the governorate for the current year.

During the meeting, Al-Hamli confirmed that the Council worked with humanitarian partners to implement a number of development and service projects in Saada Governorate.

He pointed out the Council’s keenness to implement projects and interventions that contribute to alleviating the human suffering of citizens as a result of the aggression and siege in all governorates, including Saada.
