Tripoli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush has discussed with the French President’s Special Envoy to Libya, Paul Soller, developments of the political situation in the country and ways to support the Bathily initiative, and coordinate international efforts to hold comprehensive and transparent elections.

Al-Mangoush, renewed the support of the Government of National Unity for the efforts of the UN envoy to follow the path of elections, end the transitional stages, and unify all efforts to enhance stability in Libya, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on its Facebook account.

The Foreign Ministry stated that the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj, attended this meeting.

He expressed his support as well as support of the Director General for the female staff of the Libyan News Agency and their readiness to mitigate any difficulties and remove the challenges that they may face in their field of work within the framework of the remarkable development that our country is witnessing to enable women to access all areas of work to achieve development by exploiting all capacities within society.

Meanwhile, LANA female staff have emphasized their determination to contribute to the efforts exerted to develop the Libyan News Agency in all journalistic, administrative and financial disciplines.
