Adel Jumaa: (93.6) billion dinars, the total expenditure of the government of national unity in 2022

Tripoli- The Government of National Unity announced today, Tuesday, that total government spending during the past year 2022 amounted to about (93.6) billion Libyan dinars.

This came in the words of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Jumaa, during a symposium organized by the government in Tripoli, to reveal government expenditures and expenditures of the Libyan state during the past year within the framework of the disclosure and transparency program announced by its President Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba last year.

Jumaa explained that the government spent more than (47) billion dinars on the first chapter on salaries and the like, which represents about 50% of the total expenditure, and more than (8.5) billion dinars on the second chapter on management, operation and equipment expenses, amounting to 9 % of spending.

The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs indicated that the government spent about (17.5) billion dinars on the third chapter on development projects and programs, at a rate of 19%, while it spent on the fourth chapter, on support, more than (20) billion dinars, or 21%.

30 students start training in methods of teaching Italian language at University of Siena

Tripoli -30 Libyan students graduated from the Italian language started their training yesterday, at University of Siena in Italy, to qualify them in the methods of teaching the Italian language.

The Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Ministry of Education said that training these students, who represent the second batch receiving training in Italy, were chosen after conducting corresponding exams in Tripoli, Benghazi, and Sebha, during last May, indicating that this training come within the framework of the ministry’s commitment to teach the Italian language in Libya during next years, as parts of the plans for teaching different languages.

He explained that these trainees had received remote training lasted for 3 months, before joining the halls of the Italian university to receive training for 2 months at the expense of the Italian government, and then return to Libya and attend the last two months remotely.

The Minister of Education, Musa Al-Maqrif, had praised during his meeting with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, last November, the role of the Italian side and its seriousness in teaching the Italian language to Libyan students, and the training programs it provided to train teachers of the Italian language at the University of Cavoscari in the Italian city of Venice.

It’s noteworthy that the first batch included 56 Libyan students, and they received training at Ca’Foscari University in the Italian city of Venice.

Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation receives the Director of Islamic Affairs

Jeddah -The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Taha, affirmed the permanent position of the organization in support of Libya ,the unity of its people, and the integrity of its territories, and support all efforts to hold the elections.

This came during a meeting of the Secretary-General of the Organization at its headquarters in Jeddah, with Director of the Department of Islamic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Saif Al-Bey.

According to the communication office of the organization, the Secretary-General stressed the organization’s support for all initiatives and efforts that contribute to resolving the Libyan crisis politically, in order to ensure the return of security and stability in Libya, preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and fulfill the aspirations of the Libyan people.
