Al-Dabaiba honors the Libyan champions in the sport of weightlifting

Tripoli- Today, Sunday, in the Cabinet Office, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hameed al-Dabiba, honored the Libyan weightlifting champions, who participated in the African Championship held in Cairo, who won two gold and 7 silver necklaces.

The Prime Minister also honored the Swehli weightlifting team, which won 6 medals in the African Championship for Champion Clubs held in Cairo.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sports, the President of the Libyan Weightlifting Federation, and the President of the Swehli Club participated in the honoring.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his pride in the local and international achievements of Libyan youth, despite the exceptional circumstances, stressing his support for Libyan participation in foreign forums.

Libya tops the list of African oil-producing countries, according to OPEC’s monthly report

Tripoli, Libya topped the list of African oil-producing countries during the month of October, according to the monthly report issued by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).

According to what was published by the National Oil Corporation on its website, Libya ranked first in the list of the Organization of Producing Countries at the African level with 1.163 million barrels per day, followed by Angola 1.067 million barrels per day, Algeria 1.060 million barrels per day while Nigeria’s production reached 1.024 million barrels per day.

The Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation thanked and appreciated all employees in the oil sector in the country, and praised their efforts to maintain production rates of oil and gas.

Al Dabaiba holds a meeting with the mayors of the municipalities of Greater Jafara

Tripoli, GNA Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba, held a meeting with the mayors of the municipalities of (Al-Azizia Al-Zahra, Al-Sawani, Al-Maya, Al-Amriya, Al-Nasiriyah, Al-Jlaida, and Al-Maamoura), in the presence of the Ministers of Transportation, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, and Local Government Badr Al-Din Al-Toumi.

The meeting was devoted to following up on the results of the Prime Minister’s recent visit to the region during the fourteenth Cabinet meeting, the projects that have been approved and the steps taken by the executive bodies to start implementation. They also discussed the security situation in the municipalities and supporting their security directorates to play their role.
