عقدت الشركة العربية الفلسطينية للاستثمار- أيبك، يوم الاثنين الموافق 9 أيار، 2022 اجتماع هيئة عامة غير عادي وعادي في مدينة رام الله، فلسطين برئاسة السيد طارق العقاد، رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة ورئيسها التنفيذي وبحضور أعضاء مجلس إدارة أيبك وممثلين عن وزراة الاقتصاد الوطني- مكتب مراقب الشركات، وهيئة سوق رأس المال الفلسطينية، وبورصة فلسطين، إضافة إلى مدقق الحسابات الخارجي والمستشار القانوني لأيبك وحشد من مساهمي الشركة.

وصادقت الهيئة العامة في اجتماعها على توزيع أرباح على مساهمي الشركة المسجلين كما بتاريخ 8/5/2022 بنسبة حوالي 17.14% من رأس المال المدفوع لأيبك والبالغ 105 مليون دولار أمريكي كما بتاريخه، منها أرباح نقدية بقيمة 11 مليون دولار أمريكي بنسبة حوالي 10.476% وأسهم مجانية عددها 7 مليون سهم، بنسبة حوالي 6.666% وبذلك يصبح رأس المال المدفوع لأيبك بعد توزيع الأسهم المجانية 112 مليون دولار أمريكي.

كما تم انتخاب مجلس إدارة جديد للشركة للسنوات الأربع القادمة مكون من 13 عضوة وعضو من سيدات ورجال أعمال  من ذوي الخبرة في مجالات الاستثمار والحوكمة وقطاعات التصنيع والتجارة والخدمات والتمويل وريادة الأعمال من فلسطين والسعودية والأردن والامارات وبريطانيا، وأميركا وهم: طارق عمر العقاد، طارق الشكعة، لانا غانم، ميساء برانسي، هاشم الشوا، لينا خليل، أولغا أبو ردينة، أحمد عطوان، نشأت المصري، محمد أبو خيزران، د. ضرغام مرعي، خالد الكيالي، ود. مازن حسونة.

The conclusion of a memorandum of understanding between Libya and Tunisia to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries

Tripoli- The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in the Libyan municipality of Jafara and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry northeast of Bizerte, Tunisia, signed, today, Tuesday, in Tripoli, a memorandum of understanding aimed at increasing the volume of trade exchange and expanding the horizons of cooperation between commercial, industrial and service institutions and companies in the two countries.

The memorandum of understanding – which was supervised by the Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade – is concerned with enhancing communication between economic and commercial activities in the two countries, and exchanging laws, legislation and studies on economic activity and economic and trade information and statistics related to the markets in both countries.

The memorandum also aims to increase the volume of trade exchange and expand the horizons of cooperation between commercial, industrial and service institutions and companies in the two countries, and to focus a strategy for direct bilateral cooperation in order to head towards the African market.

In a speech after signing the memorandum of understanding, the Minister of Economy and Trade, Muhammad al-Hawij, stressed the need to activate the role of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture and to enhance its role in supporting industrial and agricultural activities in the region, which possesses the ingredients to achieve spatial development with the participation of the private sector, the source of the national economy.

Al-Hawij stressed the importance of developing a joint work program as a result of the concluded memorandum of understanding that contributes to strengthening trade and industrial cooperation, activating transit trade towards the African market, and contributing to providing the necessary facilities for business owners, investors and manufacturers in order to increase production and develop the local industry.

The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding was attended by the Minister of Economy and Trade Muhammad Al-Hawij, the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya Asaad Al-Ajili, the Undersecretary for Free Zones Affairs and the Director General of the Export Development Center of the Libyan Ministry of Economy, members of the Supreme Council of the State, the President of the Libyan-Tunisian Economic Chamber and the Director of the Private Sector Development and Investment Department at the Ministry of Economy and Trade. Dabaiba follows up with Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections, the extent of its readiness to complete the elections, and the difficulties it faces

TripoliThe Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba met , Tuesday, the head and members of the Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections, to determine the committee’s readiness and its willingness to complete the election procedure in the remaining municipalities that were not elected, and the problems and difficulties facing its work and provision requirements needed.

Dabaiba stressed during the meeting the need to adhere to the stages of completing the municipal council elections, noting that the election of municipal councils confirm commitment to the democratic path, and the importance of the role of municipalities in the government that adopts the option of decentralization by giving wide powers to the municipalities, for their ability to stand on the needs and choices of their citizens.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed that the Central Committee for Municipal Council Elections has a national and historical role in conducting the elections.

It is noteworthy that the Central Committee was established in 2013 and supervised the elections of municipal councils in several municipalities.

After receiving a notification of ISIS movements: The Stabilization Support Service is conducting desert patrols to comb the valleys south of the Nesma area

Tripoli- The Stabilization Support Service conducted desert patrols to comb the valleys south of the Nesma region, against the background of information received about cars bearing the flag of the terrorist organization “ISIS” with foreigners on board in the region.

The agency said in a statement on its official page that its security patrols combed the valleys 30 km south of the area Sarir al-Maqtatiya, stressing that no presence of ISIS elements was found, and they expected to head either south or east.

The statement indicated that the patrols of the Stabilization Support Agency moved as soon as they received a report that there were cars bearing the flag of the “terrorist organization” and carrying foreigners on board.

(Bashagha) explains the details of his initiative on national dialogue and consensus

Tripoli- The Prime Minister of the Libyan government, designated by the House of Representatives, “Fathi Bashagha” called, on Tuesday, for a comprehensive national dialogue within the framework of national reconciliation, targeting all political, military and social forces wishing to establish a solid civil life.

Bashagha said in a press conference after the second meeting of his government in Derna, that the initiative aims to expand communication and participation with everyone, and reflects the desire to unite efforts, agree on national values and principles, prepare for the construction and reconstruction phase, and consider the fighting between brothers as an untouchable red line.

He stressed that his government extends its hand to communicate with all currents, parties, political blocs and civil society organizations, and seeks to expand the base of dialogue with sheikhs, dignitaries and wise men in all regions, especially those who had a distinguished role in reconciliation and conflict resolution in the past period.

“Bashagha” added that the government acknowledges that the revolutionaries and many military forces had the credit and the final word in resisting tyranny and the war on terrorism, and considers that these efforts must continue and focus on efforts to restore and rebuild the state, and from here the government is keen to open discussions and dialogues with the leaders of the formations The military is to bridge the gap between them, dispel fears and clarify its program for others.

The Libyan Prime Minister called on the House of Representatives, the Supreme Council of State, the Presidential Council, and the military and security institutions to work with the government to return the displaced to their areas.

During the press conference, which was attended by his three deputies, “Bashagha” gave an explanation about the objectives of his initiative, which he said that at the forefront is preserving Libyan sovereignty, preventing foreign interference in all its forms from all parties, and achieving the aspirations of the Libyan people in holding elections.

The initiative stresses – according to Bashagha – not to resort to violence and to prevent any confrontations in all its forms, respecting the Libyan legitimacy and the laws and procedures that resulted from legislative bodies, amnesty, reconciliation and burying the past with a commitment not to commit any transgressions in the future, and building security and civil institutions and the right building according to standards International cooperation, and full cooperation by all in curbing corruption and stopping the waste of public money to revive the national economy and improve services for citizens.

Minister of Communications discusses with His Tunisian Counterpart outstanding problems at Border Posts

Tripoli- Minister of Communications, Mohamed Al-Shahubi discussed with the Tunisian Minister of Transport, Rabie Al-Majidi, the settlement of debts of Libyan Airlines and Afriqiyah Airways.

The two ministers also discussed, during the meeting held on the sidelines of the Future of Aviation Conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, finding possible solutions to the outstanding problems at the Ras Ajdir and the Wazen border posts between the two countries.

The meeting also touched on the opening of a maritime link between the two countries and the resumption of Tunisian Airlines flights, according to a post on the GNU Ministry of Communications official Facebook account.

The meeting was attended on the Libyan side by the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Mustafa Ben Ammar and Head of Airports Authority, Mohamed Bait Al-Mal, and from the Tunisian side attended by the Director General of Civil Aviation, the Director General of the Civil Aviation and Airports Office, and the Director General of Tunisair.
