Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation is considering establishment of workers’ city with Administrative Council in Sorman

Sorman, 7 April, 2022 (Lana) – Labuor inspectors at the Inspection Department of the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation held a meeting with the Steering Council of the municipality of Sorman regarding the request to include the municipality among the municipalities targeted for establishing a labour city. The meeting, which was held at the municipality’s headquarters, was attended by the director of Labour and Rehabilitation Office in the municipality of Sorman, “Abdul Majid al-Rubai” and the head of the inspection department, Mukhtar Abdullah.

It was agreed during the meeting, after reviewing the requirements for establishing a labour city in the municipality, that the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation should submit a proposal for the space required for the establishment of the city and the design of buildings and facilities, and for the municipality to determine and provide the space in accordance with the required conditions.

For its part, the Admin Council of the municipality of Sorman affirmed its readiness to provide a suitable plot of land for the establishment of the city in coordination with the competent authorities.

The Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army visits the Joint Operations Room

Tripoli- The Vice-President of the Presidential Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi”, in his capacity as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, visited this morning, Thursday, the joint operations room, at Maitiga base, to see the progress of work there.

Al-Lafi praised the Libyan-Turkish cooperation in the military field, especially the keenness of the Libyan officers assigned to work in the operations room, to benefit from the experience of their Turkish counterparts in their field of specialization.

Al-Lafi stressed the importance of cooperation that brings the two countries together in the military field, in implementation of the agreements signed between them in the field of training and technical advice, to benefit from the Turkish experience in this field.

For their part, the officers working in the Chamber confirmed that the visit of the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army gave them a moral boost that will contribute to providing the best.
