Tobruk- Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, “Youssef Al-Aqouri” in the city of Benghazi, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of San Mario in Libya, “Marco Mantovani”

The meeting discussed the latest political developments in the region and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the commercial and tourism fields.

Representative “Al-Aqouri” welcomed the ambassador, stressing that he will address the competent authorities to open an embassy representing the State of Libya in the Republic of San Marino.

In turn, Ambassador Mantovani affirmed his country’s keenness to develop cooperation relations with Libya in all fields.

Addis Ababa- Members of the African Parliament in the Libyan House of Representatives, “Saleh Qelma”, “Salem Qanan” and “Abdul-Qader Hassan”, participated Friday in a meeting held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, with the committee assigned by the Chairperson of the Commission and the African Union.

The spokesman for the House of Representatives, “Abdullah Belhaq,” said that the participation of the three representatives was in the consultative meeting of the North African regional group on the elections for the presidency of the African Parliament postponed to next May, accompanied by the group of North African countries.

Kiev- The Libyan Embassy in Ukraine announced the procedures for evacuating Libyan citizens residing there.

The embassy confirmed that the committee supervising the departure of citizens has allocated places for gathering in order to start the deportation process.

The embassy indicated that the Libyans in eastern Ukrainian cities will move to the capital, Kiev, and from there to the Slovak border.

The embassy added that for the nearby cities west of Kiev, the meeting point is the city of Chort Kiev.

The embassy allocated two contact numbers for coordination, “+380932120000, and +380637948919.”
