Two brothers killed in Ain Zara as a result of a landmine explosion

Tripoli- Two children were killed today, Tuesday, as a result of a landmine explosion in the outskirts of the capital, Tripoli.

And the media quoted a statement by the official spokesman for the ambulance and emergency services, “Osama Ali”, in which he confirmed that the two children died next to their house in the Ain Zara area, without further details.

GNU refuses to recognize independence of Donetsk and Lugansk

Tripoli- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced the refusal of the Government of National Unity to recognize the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, stressing its commitment to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Ukraine.

The ministry said in a statement, Tuesday, that the Government of National Unity joins the international community in its appeal to Russia to refrain from any military operation against Ukraine, calling for calm and the withdrawal of the Russian military build-up on the Ukrainian borders and the occupied Crimea, according to the statement.

The government renewed its categorical rejection of the illegal presence of Wagner forces in the Ukraine and Libya, calling on Russia to use the language of dialogue and diplomacy as an alternative to the language of war.

The Union of Arab Chambers votes unanimously to accept the membership of the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture

Cairo- The Arab Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture unanimously voted in its chambers of commerce to accept the membership of the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in the federation.

This came during the (132) meeting of the Federation of Arab Chambers, which was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the participation of the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, headed by the head of its management committee, “Faraj Dribel”.

The program of the meeting included many items, the most important of which was to consider the latest developments in the global economic situation and the work environment, ratify the implemented decisions and recommendations of the 131st session held in Dubai during June of last year, and review the report on the activities and events of the General Secretariat of the Union. During the same year, in addition to the Federation’s work plan for the current year 2022

The meeting also dealt with discussing the establishment of the Arab Business Council – South Africa, and the Kenyan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry – the Federation of Arab Chambers, and discussing a memorandum regarding the request of the Federation of Syrian Chambers to hold an economic forum or the next session of the Council in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Al-Lafi discusses with members of 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee latest developments

Tripoli- Abdullah Al-Lafi, Vice-President of the Presidential Council – Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army – affirmed the Council’s continued support for the efforts of the Joint Military Committee (5+5) so that it can perform the tasks entrusted to it, to ensure permanent stability in all regions Libya, and to complete its programme to unify the military institution. This came during the meeting held by “Al-Lafi”, Tuesday, with members of the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5, who reviewed before him the latest developments in the military and security situations, and the practical steps taken for the exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libyan territory, and the unification of the military institution.

“Al-Hwaij” reviews with the competent authorities the mechanisms for implementing the investment map in accordance with the ministry’s work plan for the year 2022

Tripoli- The Minister of Economy and Trade, “Mohammed al-Hwaij” stressed the need to implement the investment map according to the natural resources available in each region.

This came during his meeting today, Tuesday, with the ministry’s undersecretaries, heads and directors of a number of affiliated agencies and advisors at the ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, within the framework of following up on the preparation of the investment map, the completed stages, and the mechanism for its completion.

The meeting discussed the difficulties facing the completion of the investment map and ways to achieve it, according to what was published by the official page of the Ministry of Economy.

Mechanisms of coordination and cooperation between the affiliated and related agencies were also reviewed in preparing and implementing the investment map in accordance with the Ministry’s work plan for the year 2022, which aims to activate the investment and trade sectors, support small and medium enterprises, and contribute to the development of infrastructure in all sectors in a way that supports the national economy.
