Agricultural Police Service hands over Surman National Park to competent authority.

Tripoli, The Agricultural Police Service handed over the Surman National Park to the competent agency, in implementation of the instructions of the Attorney General, Sadiq Al-Sour.

The head of the Agricultural Police, Surman Branch, handed over the Surman National Park to the director of the park, in the presence of the director of the General Forestry Department and the head of the investigation unit at the Surman Center, in implementation of the instructions of the Attorney General and the head of the agricultural police regarding encroachments on state property.

The Chief Prosecutor of the First Instance, Al-Zawiya, had investigated the violations related to state property and the encroachments on the Surman Park.

During his meeting with the Turkish ambassador to Libya: The Minister of Housing renews his invitation to Turkish companies to activate and complete their previously contracted projects.

Tripoli, The Minister of Housing and Construction, “Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi” met today, Monday, at the headquarters of the agency, accompanied by Mr. Ibrahim Takita and his accompanying delegation. In the presence of a number of Turkish companies operating in Libya and implementing a number of projects.

During the meeting, the minister welcomed the Turkish ambassador, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries, as it is an economic partner for Libya, according to what was published by the official page of the Ministry of Housing and Construction.

Al-Ghawi also referred to the Prime Minister’s directives and his announcement of the program (the plan for the return of life), which is concerned with rebuilding the wheel of reconstruction and construction, stressing the invitation of Turkish companies to participate in this plan and activate their previously contracted projects, in addition to participating in new projects within the plan.

For his part, the Chairman of the Administration Committee for the Development and Development of Administrative Centers stressed the important role of Turkish companies, calling on the implementing companies to resume work on the stalled projects, especially those that have reached great completion rates.

The number of voter card recipients has risen to more than one million seven hundred thousand.

Tripoli, The number of voter card recipients from the centers has reached (1.70941) million cards, according to the latest statistics issued by the Commission.

The Director of the Supreme Media Office for Elections, “Sami Al-Sharif”, said in a statement to the Libyan News Agency that among those who received the voter’s card, there are 656,767 women.

The offices of the three electoral administrations have completed the reception of candidates for the presidential elections.

Tripoli, The offices of the three electoral administrations in Tripoli, Benghazi and Sebha finished this evening, Monday, the reception of candidates who officially submitted applications and files for their candidacy for the presidential elections.

A source at the Electoral Commission stated to the Libyan News Agency that the number of candidates for the presidential elections who officially applied since the opening of the door for admission until the end of accepting the candidates’ papers reached (98) candidates.

GNU Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development mourns writer and artist Radwan Abushwesha.

Tripoli, The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development has mourned the writer and artist Radwan Abushwesha, who passed away on Sunday, after a long struggle with the disease. He was 76.

The ministry said in its obituary that the writer and artist Abushwesha, who had a long career in literature and the arts, wrote many books and anecdotal collections, and has had great contribution in this field inside and outside Libya.

The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development expressed its heartfelt condolences and support to the family and friends of the deceased and to the artistic and cultural community.
