A phone call between President of Presidential Council and Egyptian President.

Tripoli, A phone call was conducted on Tuesday between the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al Mnefi and the President of Egypt Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi, to discuss latest political developments.

The conversation dealt with exchanging views on the Paris conference, to be held in the next two days.

Al Mnefi valued Egyptian efforts in hosting the meeting of the Joint Military Commission (5 + 5) with representatives of the neighboring countries in Cairo.

For his part, President Al Sisi praised the role of the Presidential Council in consolidating the ceasefire, its efforts in national reconciliation, and unifying of state institutions.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Civil Service discuss optimizing the use of training projects for international organizations operating in Libya.

Tripoli, The meeting held between the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation and Organizations and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Civil Service for Career Development was devoted to discussing ways to make the best use of training projects for international organizations operating in Libya, and coordinating between them and the Ministry of Civil Service, in order to Training and development of the staff of the administrative apparatus of the Libyan state.

The meeting discussed the training courses that the Libyan state had previously contracted with major international educational institutions, and the resumption of work on these contracts after years of hiatus, in addition to the possibility of concluding other international agreements for training abroad with other prestigious organizations and institutions, in the field of career development.

The German ambassador visits the municipality of Benghazi to discuss the work carried out by the state of Germany in the municipality.

Benghazi, The Minister of Planning, “Fakher Boufarneh”, accompanied by the head of the Steering Council of the municipality of Benghazi, “Al-Saqr Omran Bujwari”, met the German ambassador to Libya “Michael Ohnmacht” and his accompanying delegation, which started today, Wednesday, a visit to the municipality of Benghazi.

During the meeting, which was held in the presence of the regional director of the German Foundation for International Cooperation, “Manfred Hauer” and the director of the projects office in the municipality, “Osama Al-Kazah”, the work carried out by the Federal State of Germany through the German Foundation for International Cooperation (GIZ) on local government programs and the development and modernization of municipalities and the development of the municipal sector was discussed. Health, youth programs, entrepreneurship and micro-enterprises, in addition to providing technical support, developing the administrative aspect and managing waste.

The projects and works carried out by the United Nations Development Fund in the city of Benghazi, supported by the European Union, in which the atheistic German state is one of the largest supporters, were also discussed. Implementation of many works in various fields of infrastructure.
