Egypt Reiterates its Support for Efforts Aimed at Restoring Stability to Libya.

Cairo, Egypt has reiterated its support for efforts aimed at restoring stability to Libya.

This came during participation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri in the virtual meeting of the AU Peace and Security Council on Libya.

A spokesman for Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafedh said in a tweet ‘Shukri’s participation was a reaffirmation of Egypt’s support, at various international forums for Libya’s stability and prosperity of its people.

President of Presidency Council Discuss in

Berlin, President of Presidency Council Mohamed Al Mnefi arrived in Berlin on Thursday at the head of a delegation for a visit to Germany, during which he will discuss political developments in Libya.

The Council’s Communication Office said during his 2 day visit Al Mnefi will hold talks with Chancellor Angela Merkel and the President of the Federal Republic Frank-Walter Steinmeier on issues related to the political process in Libya.

GNU Minister of Interior Discuss Security Cooperation with French Ambassador.

Tripoli, GNU Interior Minister discussed with French Ambassador Beatrice Du Helen Ministry’s efforts to secure forthcoming elections.

The meeting which was convened at the Ministry’s headquarters here focused on security cooperation notably in the training Ministry’s elements on national safety techniques.

The Minister said all Ministry’s capabilities are devoted to securing the forthcoming elections, the Minister told the Ambassador.

On her part, the Ambassador praised the Ministry’s effort and said the French Embassy would make it easier for Libyan to obtain entry visas to France.
