Al-Sayeh Meets With A Delegation From The Strategic Review Committee Of The UN Mission.

Tripoli, The Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, met today, Thursday, with a delegation from the Strategic Review Committee of the United Nations Mission, headed by “Abdullah Bathily”.

During the meeting, they discussed enhancing means of cooperation between the Commission and the United Nations in the electoral fields, and what has been achieved for the elections on December 24.

The Presidential Council Is Following Up With The Prime Minister The (Electricity, Corona Vaccines, Services, Foreign Policy) Files.

Tripoli, The Presidential Council followed up with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, “Abdul Hamid al-Dbaiba”, the developments of work in the electricity and energy file, the file of vaccines against the Corona virus, health measures, and a number of service files.

This came during the consultative meeting held today, Thursday, in the capital, Tripoli, between the President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Mnifi” and the member of the Council, “Abdullah Al-Lafi” and the head of the national unity government.

The meeting also (according to the media office of the Presidential Council) following up on a number of files related to Libyan foreign policy.

In A Publication Of Its Embassy: The United Kingdom Wants To Work With Libya To Develop Renewable Projects To Improve The Provision Of Electricity Across The Country.

Tripoli, The British Embassy in Libya confirmed that oil and gas is a vital sector for the Libyan economy.

The embassy clarified in a post on its official page that Libya has enormous potential for renewable energy, especially with solar and wind energy.

The publication said the UK wanted to work with Libya to develop renewable projects to improve the provision of electricity across the country.

Al-Mishri Expresses His Reservations About The Work Of The UN Mission And Its Practice Of Siding With Parties At The Expense Of Others.

Tripoli, The Head of the Supreme Council of State, “Khaled Al-Mishri” expressed his reservations about the work of the United Nations mission, and its practice of siding with parties at the expense of others, and that it did not seek with us to complete the process of the referendum on the constitution.

Al-Mishri affirmed, during his meeting today, Thursday, at the council’s headquarters in Tripoli, with a delegation from the United Nations Independent Strategic Review Committee, headed by Abdullah Bathily, the keenness of the Supreme Council of State to hold the elections on time.

The meeting, which was attended by the Second Vice-President of the Council, Safwan Al-Masori, dealt with the file of the foreign forces, where Al-Mishri warned of the need to differentiate between the forces that were brought in a declared and legitimate manner from an internationally recognized legitimate government, and the mercenary forces that came in an undeclared manner, and these troops should be carried out within stages.
