Libyan Business Council Discuss With Italian Ambassador Cooperation In Agriculture, Fishing And Other Areas.

Tripoli, The Libyan Business Council on Tuesday discussed with Italian Ambassador cooperation in agriculture, fishing and other sectors for mutual benefits of both countries.

The Council paid tribute, in a meeting held in Tripoli with the Italian Ambassador, to the Italian Embassy for continuing to work from Tripoli in the last period, providing consular services to the Libyan citizens.

It said it was prepared to work with Italian counterparts, and invited Italian companies to come to Libya to contribute to the reconstruction process in the country.

The Italian Ambassador said his country was prepared to build bridges of cooperation with Libyan activists, open training facilities for Libyan cadres in different sectors.

Al-Mishri And The Assistant Special Envoy Of The Secretary-General Of The United Nations To Libya Discuss Political Developments In The Country.

Tripoli, The President of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Assistant Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, Raysidon Zeninga, the latest political developments in the country, most notably the elections file and the course of dialogue related to the constitutional base.

During the meeting, which was held at the council’s headquarters in Tripoli, the head of the council stressed the keenness of the Supreme Council of State on the need to hold the elections on the specified date, stressing adherence to the reference of the political agreement with regard to laws and legislation related to the electoral process.

Al-Manfi Affirmed, During His Meeting With Bashagha, His Adherence To Holding The Elections On Time And Supporting The Work Of The Joint Military Committee, The Ceasefire And The Unification Of Institutions.

Tripoli, The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohammed Al-Manfi” met today, Tuesday, the former Minister of Interior, “Fathi Bashaga”, to discuss the upcoming elections and benefits.

During the meeting, Al-Manfi affirmed his adherence to the date of holding the elections at the end of December of this year, and supporting the work of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee, the ceasefire and the unification of institutions.

For his part, “Bashaga” praised the role of the Presidential Council in addressing the divisions in the institutions and their important role in establishing a National Reconciliation Commission that would serve as a starting point and a basic base for reunification and bringing together the Libyan parties in all regions and cities.

The Supreme State, The Central Bank And The Audit Bureau Are Discussing The Economic Situation In The Country In Light Of The Lack Of Approval Of The Budget.

Tripoli, The President of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, held a meeting today, Tuesday, with the governor of the Central Bank of Libya, the head of the Audit Bureau, the head of the Administrative Control Authority, and the head of the National Anti-Corruption Commission at the council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.

The meeting dealt with the country’s economic conditions, and ways to confront the daily living problems in light of the lack of adoption of the budget, according to what the media office of the council stated on its official page.

It was agreed that the government would spend the budget (12/1) taking into consideration the change in the exchange rate of the Libyan dinar, in addition to emphasizing that the supervisory bodies would play their role in preventing budget deviations.
