With the participation of Libya: The Arab Ministers of Interior and Tourism discuss in Tunisia the model strategy in the field of tourism security.

Tripoli, A delegation from the Ministry of Interior, headed by the Deputy Head of the Tourism Police and Antiquities Protection Authority, Colonel “Ahmed Riahi”, participated in the meeting of representatives of the Arab Ministers of Interior and Tourism, which was held in the Republic of Tunisia, Wednesday.

According to what the ministry published on its official page, the meeting discussed reformulating the model strategy in the field of tourism security to be adopted at the meeting of Arab interior ministers next March.

This agreement stipulates the necessity of coordination between the ministries of interior and tourism in the Arab world to serve this field in terms of exchanging experiences and information, as well as raising the efficiency of the elements entrusted with tourism security by holding intensive training courses to support tourism and advance this sector, especially since the Arab world is very rich in archaeological and historical sites. It also enjoys natural areas that are considered one of the most powerful tourist attractions.
