Turkey’s foreign minister criticizes the West’s determination of the date of the elections in Libya.

Ankara, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu affirmed that holding elections in Libya is one of the most important means to ensure the unity of the state, stressing the need not to discuss legitimacy in Libya until the election date and to take the necessary measures.

The Turkish official Anatolia Agency quoted Cavusoglu as describing it (the current situation in Libya is very critical).

The Turkish minister criticized (the West that had previously set a date for the elections, with the Libyans confirming that the conditions were not suitable, which was the reason for postponing the election date), according to the Anatolia Agency.
