New York, The Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for support to Libya, “Jan Kubis”, requested the international community to help Libya to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis and to support the elections scheduled for the next 24th of December”.
In his briefing to the UN Security Council on Friday, Kubis welcomed the measures taken by the national unity government to facilitate the elections process, calling on international organizations to send teams for monitoring in coordination with the government.
