The Attorney General Al Sidiq Al Sour Discusses in Rome Libyan citizens convicted in Italy, and exchanging information and documents on illegal migration.

Rome, The Attorney General discussed during a visit to Italy the issue of those of Libyan convicted citizens in Italy, as well as the exchange of information, documents and coordination between the two countries on the issue of illegal migration.

Al Sour discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Libyan and Italian prosecutions with Giovanni Salvi Prosecutor at the Italian Court of Cassation and Cafiro de Rayo Director of the National Department for Combating Organized Crime and the Mafia.

The meeting comes, according the Attorney General communication office, within the context of discussing the requirements of inter-working for the purpose of finding a mechanism of action to address all problems that prevent the completion of investigations of a common nature, particularly those relating to trans-national crime organizations involved in the organization of illegal migration, human trafficking and fuel smuggling and terrorism.
