Referring the DNA samples of 10 bodies that were extracted from the Tarhuna mass graves to the laboratories of the Persons Identification Authority for identification.

Tripoli, The General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced that the teams of the search department for the remains of the authority began taking DNA samples from the number of (10) bodies that were extracted over the past period from the mass graves in the city of Tarhuna.

It was confirmed that the samples were referred to the authority’s laboratories department to carry out the matching process with the reference samples for the families of the missing persons. Noting that work is still in progress on the rest of the bodies.
