Tripoli, President of Presidency Council met GNU Minister of Health Ali Al Zenati to discuss the Coronavirus pandemic and how to employ all resources available to confront it all over the country.

The President stressed need for putting in place all healthcare precautions at border crossings, ground, air and Sea, and to ensure that awareness raised among the general public of the seriousness of the pandemic.

The President said the Council stands with the Ministry of Health, pointing to his letter to the Head of the Government, in which he instructed for immediate repatriation of Libyans stranded in Tunisia.

The Health Minister said the Ministry was in standby for the pandemic, and has put in place a plan to confront it and raise awareness of the public, to take the vaccine offered at medical centres across the country.
